Remote jobs are boring? Really? 🤔

DON'T Be A UI/UX Designer In 2026!

The biggest career myth?

“which career is better? Design or development?”

Here’s the truth -
Both are powerful.
Both are in demand.
Both require deep thinking.

Myth 1: “Design is easy.”

No.
Good design is psychology, systems, clarity, emotion, and behavior - blended into one experience.

Myth 2: “Development pays more.”

Not anymore.
AI + no-code are shrinking that gap fast.
Tools like Bolt now turn Figma files into fully functional apps.
Designers no longer “hand off.”

So which path should you choose?

Most designers have a tool addiction problem.
Is it a issue?

My answer....Yes, absolutely!
I learned this the hard way.

Early in my career, I jumped on every new design tool that launched.
New prototype tool? I tried it.
New note-taking app? Installed.
New UI workflow? Switched instantly.

And guess what?

My work didn’t get better.
My output didn’t get faster.
My clarity didn’t improve.

Because tools don’t create mastery.
Mastery creates tools.

I’ve seen it happen more times than I can count.

Everyone loves the “Webflow vs Framer” debate.

But here’s the uncomfortable truth:
Most people choose wrong.
Not because the tools are bad…
but because the decision is.

Let me simplify what years of real client projects have taught us at Design Monks:

If you need speed → Framer wins.
Lightning-fast builds.
Beautiful animations.
Perfect for startups testing ideas.

If you need structure → Webflow wins.
