I am international tax law/policy advisor with the project delivery experience primary in Eurasian region. I'm specializing in transfer pricing, tax treaties and global tax regime developments (e.g. BEPS, Pillars 1, 2). Furthemore, due to my international academic activities I also have exposure to developed jurisdictions' international tax rules (e.g. Singapore, EU, US). In my current role at PwC Eurasia I am leading and developing the new Uzbekistan country TP practice from its start in 2022, managing/coaching the team and delivering professional TP services to MNEs/Local Groups in various sectors. Furthemore, I'm part of PwC Eurasia Pillar Two group of experts advising on the tax implications of the anticipated implementation of the global minimum tax for the in-scope MNEs doing business in Eurasia. I also actively participate in the dialogue with the regulator on tax policy issues, deliver trainings in international tax law/policy to Minfin staff and co-chairing AmCham Tax & Accounting Committee. Before joining PwC I worked at the Minfin Institute (Russia) for more than 10 years as international tax law and policy academic fellow/government consultant. In this capacity I was honored to participate in developing international tax policy and tax legislation in Russia and other countries of Eurasian region (e.g. Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan). I participated in many capacity building projects and tax reform consulting missions in such areas as transfer pricing/BEPS implementation, tax incentives design, Tax Code reform and VAT. I also used to present at seminars/conferences worldwide and locally (e.g. WU), write technical tax publications (e.g. IBFD) and lecture to students and tax professionals on different international tax issues.
