Grief is experienced in life and living not just in the face of death and dying. Any loss that is central to your identity can trigger a grief response including the loss of a job or seeing coworkers leave, significant change in responsibilities at work, divorce or end of a relationship, world events or geo-political strife, a life-changing diagnosis.
