Look out Facebook, Instagram is the new king of the social web… but is it really?

Instagram is going to surpass Facebook in total monthly active users.

However, at our ad agency, NP Digital, the majority of our clients experience a higher LTV from their Facebook traffic compared to Instagram.

Why, you may ask? Facebook has an older audience, and many of those people purchased their homes back in the day when they were more affordable.

In other words, they have more money.

Paid marketing channels have a higher investment because it’s easier to “track” your ROI. (Plus, the results are faster.)

Most marketers aren’t confident in their ROI from organic traffic sources, as it is harder to track.

Now, this doesn’t mean paid is better or organic is better; instead, you should double down on getting your tracking set up where you are more comfortable, so you can scale up or down each channel appropriately.

Forget "Personal Branding". This Is How You Actually Build a Empire.

The more you focus on building a corporate brand (not just a personal one), the faster you scale beyond the Kylie Jenner $500M ceiling toward L’Oreal’s $50B legacy.

According to Grandview Research, the AI market in marketing is expected to reach roughly $82 billion by 2030.

That’s a massive market.

But there is one headwind few people are talking about… SLOP.

Every time I go to an event and ask people whether they use AI in their marketing, almost everyone raises their hand.

And then, when I ask how many people are finding themselves fixing errors AI is creating in marketing, almost everyone raises their hand.

Then I go on to ask how much time they are spending… 30 minutes a week, 1 hour, 2 hours, etc. Almost everyone raises their hand, and most people spend hours a week, and the heavy users spend, in many cases, hours a day.

Everyone wants to talk about AGI, and I don’t doubt it will change the world, but I’m still waiting for them to do basic stuff right.

And as new releases come out, I still see many fundamental issues, like inaccuracies.

I do believe AI will get better, but for now, it’s important to keep humans in the loop.

Social isn’t just a place to post anymore. It's a full search and discovery engine.

And that means everything about how you plan, create, and measure content is shifting.

One of the most complex problems for Google and ChatGPT to get right is data accuracy.

Sure, AI is great, but no one wants inaccurate information.

This has been an issue since day 1 of Google, and I don’t see it being solved because you have signals like social shares, backlinks, high time on site, etc, for pages filled with inaccurate information.

Just check out the data below. 75% of people have found AI Overviews to be inaccurate.

If you’re still chasing backlinks the old way, you’re burning time and budget.

AI doesn’t care how many links you’ve built it cares who mentions you and in what context.

Modern LLMs and AI search platforms rank based on brand reputation, contextual mentions, and sentiment, not backlink volume.

Focus on PR, credibility, and consistent brand visibility that’s the new SEO currency.
