My role was to undergo purchasing activities of commodities within the
After-sales Interior team for the brands Opel/Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen
and DS, whilst building and maintaining key relationships with internal
and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth runnings of the
aftermarket.
-Preparing, collating and presenting data within Microsoft Office
applications such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint to all levels of the
organisation, including both internal and external stakeholders.
-Investigate, research and resolve commercial issue disputes between
suppliers and the company or a company directed supplier.
-Building, managing and maintenance of key supplier relationships to
ensure effective commercial strategies are followed
-To lead negotiations on the companies behalf whilst abiding by KPI's
and budgetary constraints
-To assist suppliers to create, use and maintain access to B2B intranet
purchasing and EDI systems.

Successfully being selected nationally to embark on a summer work experience in Santander, working in teams to gain knowledge about how Santander uses Data Analysis, Data Science, Data Innovation and cyber security.

By gaining valuable knowledge on the computing and application side of working in a global organisation, allowed me to obtain expertise on various Microsoft applications e.g. Excel, PowerPoint.

Presenting skills was also exercised when we had to present how we found the work experience.

Whilst receiving employee of the month 7 times due to customer feedback reports, I’ve also acquired valuable knowledge on national stock and Inventory transportation, this knowledge was gained due to part of my job entailed ordering stock and distributing stock from my store.
