Lead Backend Engineer - Senior Backend Developer

One of the best software engineers I’ve ever worked with… didn’t even have a LinkedIn account.

I worked with him closely, so this isn’t hype or a nice story — it’s real.
He was a true Software Engineer in the deepest sense of the word.
He was leading both frontend and backend, with around 20 people reporting to him.

 And the surprising part? He was also a technical lead in two different companies at the same time.

But here’s what genuinely shocked me:
Almost nobody outside those teams knew who he was.

 No LinkedIn.
 No public presence.
 No recognizable GitHub footprint.

Yet the moment you sat in a meeting with him, you immediately understood the difference between a “good coder” and an “engineer”:
He framed the problem before touching code
His decisions smelled like architecture, not just “ship the feature”
He was obsessed with clarity, simplicity, and long-term maintainability
He grew people — not with slogans, but with standards
And it left me with a question I still can’t stop thinking about:
In a world where algorithms reward noise…

 how many real “stars” do we have who stay invisible simply because they’re quiet?

Sometimes I wonder what our industry rewards more:
 real capability — or the ability to be seen?

I don’t have a final answer yet. But I genuinely want to ask him one day:
Why didn’t you ever try to build a public profile?

 Was it a conscious choice? Focus? Disinterest? Or something else entirely?

Sometimes I think there are no words that can truly describe what the people of Iran are going through.

 These days, hearts are tired, and hope feels faint.

 We have lived through so many bitter experiences—moments no one ever expected.

People are under pressure from circumstances they never chose.
 Political games and top-down decisions ripple directly into real lives—into our daily routines, our families, and our hearts.

And yet, what still keeps us human is empathy and hope.
 Hope for a day when no nation is forced to live under oppression and pressure.

 Hope for peace, for calm, for simple smiles that once again bring color back into life.

I know these days are hard. But we must remember that together, we can keep empathy and kindness alive—even in the darkest moments.

 To everyone whose heart feels heavy today, I send this message:
