Most mobile POS screens feel crowded..

Recently I was working on a Mobile POS.

So my main goal was how can I make it simple, make it work smoothly even in busy hours. So I removed the noise, kept only what truly matters, and made every touchpoint easy to reach.

For businesses, this means quicker order taking, fewer errors, and a POS that supports staff instead of overwhelming them.

Few months ago, I redesigned one tiny part of grocery delivery site

Just a search bar
 
Nothing glamorous
No big animations
Just… search suggestions

But here’s the truth:
I’d been annoyed by this exact problem for YEARS.
Every grocery app shows the same thing:

Type “chips”
 → get 10 plain text results
 → all look identical
 → guess and pray you clicked the right one.

So I finally fixed it.

 Here’s what I changed:
 
 - Added product images
Users instantly recognize the exact item
 
 - Added store name + distance
So they know where it’s coming from and how far it is
 
 - Added price + discount badge
So they can make a decision right in the search bar itself.
 
I honestly thought people might ignore it.
(Or think I was overthinking it… because designers “care too much,” right?)

But here’s what happened: People. Noticed. Fast.
 
A tiny redesign reduced confusion, sped up decision making and made the whole search experience feel smarter.

This was my story of improving search suggestions a small UX change that genuinely helped users, solved a real problem, and created a meaningful impact for the business.
