Due to a company-wide layoff at Oyster, my role was affected. Here are some of my key accomplishments🤩:
-Onboarded 500+ new community members in 4 months 
-Developed a social media strategy, elevating Oyster's brand and spotlighting the People Builders' exclusive community.
-Coordinated and designed in-person event details, (e.g Transform Las Vegas), and led key customer events across Europe.
-Planned 9+ virtual co-creative workshops for our People Leaders community and created dynamic Miro boards for the workshops.
-Launched an ambassador program for People Leaders.
-Collaborated with design, marketing, and customer success teams regularly to ensure the success of our community.
-Planned and co-wrote 6 playbooks with subject matter experts
-Produced and shared monthly newsletters to engage our community.
-Collaborated closely with the data team to turn manual processes into efficient, automated systems.

Community Designer

-Created engaging courses on topics relating to remote work, tool management, career development, and employee experience.
-Designed various course launches by cross-collaborating with the Marketing team.
-Designed and launched a certification program of 5 courses for Oyster Academy in 2 months.
-Conducted interviews with Subject Matter Experts to optimize course content.

After years of struggling to find balance between my career ambitions and personal life in a traditional 9-to-5 job, I found my true calling in remote work. 

It wasn’t just about location flexibility, I wanted to create a life where work supported my well-being, not the other way around.

I started working remotely at Oyster HR and then transitioned into freelance consultancy work.

Since embracing this shift, I've:

→ Transformed 30+ LinkedIn profiles for founders, consultants, and remote workers, helping them land investment opportunities, more business,  and career roles.

→ Helped a unicorn founder scale his LinkedIn personal brand by +145%, driving increased visibility, engagement, and business opportunities.

We had over 60 founders join, and a surprise visit from high school students whose prof had them attend to start thinking about their LinkedIn presence early. (It made my day 🫶 seeing that.)

Before the session even started, we spent 40 minutes just networking and that alone filled my cup.

Your world is only as big as the people you allow into it.
I moved to a new country four months ago and yet I didn’t feel like I was starting from zero.

The last three years taught me something simple: If you want a global life, you have to act like a global person.

Not someday, but NOW.

Putting yourself out there matters more than people admit:

– Talk to people from everywhere
– Join global communities
– Say yes to uncomfortable rooms
– Meet online connections in real life
– Build friendships outside your bubble

This is my third time rebuilding in a new place, and the ONLY reason I feel at home already is because I spent years connecting beyond borders.

If you don’t work for a global company yet, start with LinkedIn.

Show up. Comment. Message people.

You’ll be shocked by the doors it opens. This applies to literally everyone.
You will get investors, partners, people buying your services, and people who want to collaborate with you.

The world rewards those who reach beyond what’s familiar.

You get to make another move, again and again and again.

That’s what I always tell my friends when they ask how I land the consultancy gigs, the keynotes, the projects, the CHANGES:

It’s never one big win. It’s a hundred small lessons. A hundred adjustments and even a hundred mistakes (not always fun I know lol!). 

I’ve lived this across countries, multiple careers, and a whole new life.  
Every past and current pivot makes me better.

Take the lesson. Drop the weight. Move forward with clearer eyes. don't stress about it, one day you'll look back at 80 years old and laugh (or wish you had done something).

This year changed me and I’m sure it changed you too.
According to Jade Bonacolta, it's De-cember, de-clutter, de-stress, de-lete anything that doesn't serve you.

I lost my 3 grandparents all in a year, the latest this week.
I pushed through challenges that demanded a different version of me.

And along the way, I learned that you’re allowed to pause and rethink and change your mind, even about things you just started.

Here’s the quick reset I’m doing before the year ends (and maybe you need it too):

1) Notice what’s weighing on your mind, the commitments, the tabs always open, the expectations you didn’t choose.

2) Ask yourself: “Is this still aligned with where I’m going?”

3) If not, release it. Replace it. Redirect it.

Nothing is wasted.Not the start. Not the stop. Not the detour.

Make space for the life you actually want.
Because 2026 will ask for a lighter, clearer version of you and me.

Years ago, I missed my first call with the CEO of the company I had just joined, because the power went out.

I panicked but he was completely understanding, and we simply rescheduled and in my head I was like phew ok this is chill.

A year later, he became our neighbor. Then a friend, and that’s when I started seeing everything from the other side and most importantly learning.

He became a meaningful person in our lives...and eventually opened up a new way of seeing what it means to lead , the real, human side of it.

The empathy needed. The pressure. The decisions no one sees. The ego you must shed. The resilience required to hold a team, a vision, yourself, and your family together at the same time.

It made me zoom out. It made me rethink what “success” really demands and how it differs from person to person.

Because even when you’re one of the "highest-ranking" people in the room, if you’re not working on yourself, deeply, consistently, you won’t grow. Not in the way that matters to YOU.

Life feels different when you step back and realize this simple truth:

Real change is a long, ongoing conversation with yourself.
