Let me tell you about a girl...

I'm not your typical "salesperson."

My goal is to always help my clients find what they need, even if it's not something that I'm selling.

And that's because I believe that the best way to do business is by creating trust and mutual respect.

My clients know that I have their best interests at heart and that I genuinely want to help them achieve their goals.

MA of Marketing & PR by title, sales rep by choice. 

Goal-oriented but purpose-driven, with an (un)healthy obsession for aesthetics and junk food.

Held accountable for turning closing sales into opening relationships. 

Sweet smile, bad jokes and a complete inability to hide anything I have ever felt.

Some people see a bed, chocolate cake, and a laptop.

I see a Tuesday.

Remote work isn’t an “escape.”

I don’t even believe in escapism.

If you run, never run FROM something but TOWARD something.

Half the time, my employers didn’t even know where I was - and frankly, it didn’t matter.

If the numbers were numbering and the work looked the way it should, the timezone was irrelevant.

Location can change. Standards don’t.

Let's be honest - a quiet, predictable 9-5 would probably kill me out of boredom.

I'm someone who thrives in the extremes.

Maybe that’s why I can squeeze in a workout or two a day (fine, sometimes three 🙃), and still show up at full speed for work.

Because whatever I decide to do, I go all in. 

Even if "all in" some nights looks like a chocolate cake and a spreadsheet at midnight.

Last week I attended Women SaaS Stories - a special edition of SaaStanak dedicated to the parts of this industry “that don’t always make it to LinkedIn.”

And I left with one very clear thought:

I am genuinely lucky to have been surrounded by people who never made me feel like I had to justify my seat at the table.

Right now I’m the only girl on an all-boys sales team - and I’m genuinely loving every second of it.

No ego.
No jealousy.
No “she’s competition.”

Just support, patience & occasional jokes about who’s taking me out for a steak dinner 🤣 

But I am aware that this is not the experience a lot of women have had in a male-dominated SaaS world.

Which makes it even more fitting that today, November 17th, is Equal Pay Day in the EU: the symbolic date when women in the EU “stop being paid” compared to their male peers for the exact same work.

So to all the ladies who shared their stories last week - thank you.

For the honesty, the vulnerability, and bringing up this important subject. The reminder that we really can do anything & everything in this space too.
