KladEra

KladEra is a software product that allows small and medium companies in the low-rise construction industry to automatically estimate roofing and facade materials. The program saves time, improves calculation accuracy, and helps to reduce costs. 

KladEra came out in 2019 as a result of my attempts to expand the originally intended market scope of ProfiKit. What was meant to be an extension of an existing product line of ProfiKit, has become a new substantive software product. 

My key areas of focus include:

ProfyKit offers software products for estimating roofing and facade materials in the low-rise construction industry.

Devised technical solutions and implemented them into business operations which helped to optimize the business model and drove an increase in sales YOY by 20% throughout 5 consecutive years. 

Technical audit
Initiated and performed a full scale audit of the sales process. Identified areas for improving sales, order processing & fulfillment, and payments.

Business automation
• Built an automation system (an online store) for orders processing.
• Developed a licensing server that automatically serves temporary licenses to the clients.
• Built an internal software tool that allows optimizing orders fulfilment operations.

Customization
Made a customization of an online store management system, including customization of pricing and processing of temporary licenses orders. This added an additional layer of business flexibility that enabled customers to make personalized orders, shortening their path to purchase. 

Customer support operations 
Suggested and implemented a new approach to streamline processing of customer requests via phone and emails. This includes building customer service standards, implementing an automatic telephone switching system, and more. As a result, customer request processing time decreased from 5 days to 24 hours.

I was a part of the Global Business Services department. My role was to adopt and implement international corporate requirements and standards into the IT ecosystem of the local business unit. I led and implemented value critical IT projects.  

Increased transparency in and control over the changes in IT infrastructure:
• Designed, developed, and launched a portal that allows to track changes in IT infrastructure, and automates approval workflow. 

Improved the process of production line maintenance:  
• Implemented a technical solution that automates the process of receiving and tracking orders for producing spare parts needed for maintenance of the production line.  

Contributed to business continuity and resilience for product supply: 
• Created an information portal for application managers that allows to structure information needed to improve compliance with corporate requirements.

I'm the proud founder of KladEra, a software product designed to streamline material estimation for roofing and facade needs within the low-rise construction sector. 

My career path took an exciting turn in 2015 when I transitioned from a senior sound designer role to become an entrepreneur, skilled software developer, and adept product owner in the tech.

A quick snapshot of my background:
• Holding MA degree in International Business and Sustainable Development (Slovenia) and MA in Sound Design from SCAD, a top Art and Design School in the US.
• My pursuits span a diverse range, encompassing sustainable development, technological advancements, and the arts.
• My life journey has led me through various countries including the USA, Finland, Russia, Slovenia, and Lithuania.
