This is one of the best cold emails I've ever gotten.  

Brilliant messaging.

Here's the context:

They make sure your emails land in your prospect's inbox.

With all the new AI gmail filters, the fact that this email didn't land in my spam is honestly impressive.

They know I received the email and they're owning it.

It's a live example of their value prop in action.

This is clearly templated with no personalization...

but is doesn't matter because the context and pain speak to me.

I have 3 revenue streams.

1. My day job (leading sales at a startup)

2. Content (this sponsored post is an example)

3. Training and building SDR teams.

My time is maxed out (I also have kids and friends and hobbies and stuff).

So I started a mission this year to automate everything in my life that can be.

One low hanging fruit was all the time I spend monitoring LinkedIn for signals from Sales leaders who are looking to bring in sales enablement or training to their team.

The team at FlashLabs reached out me about trying a GTM agent they were building and the timing was perfect.

Personally, I'm anti the whole AI SDR thing, but to help automate research and signal finding I'm down to try.

So here's the workflow I built:

I told my agent:

"Monitor LinkedIn for any Sales Directors or VPs of Enablement posting about 'SDR onboarding,' 'cold calling scripts,' or 'ramp time.' When you find one, build me a research brief and draft a personalized outreach based on their specific pain point."

It flagged 12 high intent posts in 48 hours and cross-referenced their company’s recent hiring spree (3 new SDR roles opened last month).

The Output was a neat list, enriched with contact data, with ready to send drafts to to review.

The Result (Actual Numbers):

Time Saved: 6+ hours of manual lead scraping and LI scrolling per week.

I booked 3 discovery calls this week alone from those 12 signals.

Conversion: My response rate on these signal led messages is sitting at 42% compared to the 12% I was getting before.

SDRs should stop sending emails in 2026.

Cold email is dying fast.

Unless you're strategic about it, you're wasting your time.

If you want to succeed with email you need to:

1) Focus on social triggers. 

➡️ Stop with all that "Congrats on the funding:" garbage and see what your prospects are actually talking about in their content/articles/podcast that relate to your value prop.

2) Invest in your email infrastructure.

3) Make your emails super short and to the post.

 ➡️ Aim for 50 words max.

If you're sending out cold emails the same way you did back in 2025,

you're probably wasting your time.

Ok, to be fair that wasn’t his response, but I’m a big believer in speaking what you want into existence.

Why are SDRs ignoring Whatsapp for outreach when it has 3x reply rate compared to cold email?

Most teams are fighting for attention in crowded inboxes, while WhatsApp is still underused (and underrated) in B2B.

Shameless plug: I use lemlist to create and manage Whatsapp. The key isn’t blasting messages from your phone, it’s using multichannel outreach properly.

If you haven’t tried outreach through Whatsapp, you better jump on it before it gets crowded.

My 8th Grade English teacher said my content would never go viral on LinkedIn.

I was hurt. 

but I was also determined to prove her wrong.

If you don't have a personal vendetta to inspire your growth on LinkedIn, that's OK.

There are other ways to grow on LinkedIn.
