💥 The Financial Times Europe’s Leading Start-up Hubs 2026 ranking just dropped, and honestly, it confirms something I’ve been seeing firsthand for years.

After 7 years guest lecturing at HEC Paris, mentoring founders at STATION F, investing in companies coming out of the ecosystem, and now serving as Academic Director… one thing is clear:

👉 Europe’s startup ecosystems are getting seriously competitive.
👉 Standards are rising fast.
👉 Founder ambition is shifting from local to global.

This year HEC is:

• #1 French business school in the ranking
• #2 startup hub in France
• Top 10 innovation hub in Europe (#8)

Rankings move. That’s normal.

What matters more is what’s happening underneath:

• Stronger founders. 
• Better support. 
• Smarter capital. 
• More global ambition.

Germany, Nordics, France, Southern Europe, the whole continent is leveling up. And competition is actually the best thing that could happen to us.

Europe isn’t “emerging” anymore.

It’s competing.
