I created the Customer Advocacy community on the Influitive platform that drove hundreds of customer marketing and advocacy activities over 8 months. 

The reviews, references, and other content fueled marketing campaigns, as well as, earning the top position in the Q4 ABM Gartner Magic Quadrant. 

The community had almost 400 members. I also created all programs, content, and marketing collateral with a 1:1 match program, user group/meetup initiative, and gamification opportunities.

Helped lead the new community to 15,000 members in the first 10 months. Helped grow monthly traffic to over 42,000/mo in first 10 months.

Researched and created a new community strategy for all of Outreach & Sales Hacker. This involved member interviews, surveys, meetings with top executives to drive community direction, and ultimately delivering the final strategy and roadmaps.

Responsible for daily community growth, content, advocacy and influencer participation, scheduled events, promotions, newsletters, email, new initiatives, upholding partner agreement terms, and internal relationships.

Guided our team through early community decisions around UX, promotion, communications, technology selection, policy, features, and site design via feedback, research, and data.

Established internal relationships to help all teams benefit from community efforts by evaluating their needs, prioritizing internal campaigns, and establishing a cadence of regular communication with each department.

Managed 12 communities, advised 20 others. Increased participation over 30% in first month. Improved retention by 23% through 1:1 relationships and outreach. Contributed to increase in event revenue 28%. 

Responsible for daily management, monthly growth, NPS metrics, content, member participation, outreach, email marketing campaigns, contributing to designing custom platform, assisting other community managers, promoting events, and working with internal teams. 

Members were executives, 30 under 30 list members, CEOs, and founders at tech, software, and startup companies. Their membership promised access & connection to hundreds of other decision-making executives through our white-glove service.

Helped grow the community from 40k to 154k members. Contributed to MoM traffic increase of 10% to 700k visits a month. 2x member participation via a personalized outreach program. Improved 30 day new retention by 32%

Strategized with HubSpot cofounder (Dharmesh Shah) for growth, retention, funding, revenue strategy, and events. Created and executed on programs and playbooks for all aspects of community including day-to-day community management, content, programs, events, metric tracking and analysis, onboarding, retention, partnerships, feature prioritization, support, feedback, member advocacy and referral programs.

Assisted in Inbound.org's participation in INBOUND15 (HubSpot's live yearly event) coordinating with HubSpot teams to market the event to our community, sell tickets, plan our booth, activities, and sponsored meetup.

Built the advocacy program. Initially started with a few members and quickly grew to over 300 evangelists. Owned all aspects of social media and email marketing where we grew to over 30,000 followers Twitter & Facebook and worked with HubSpot to promote the community on their outlets.

Analyzed collected data in Mixpanel to find trends among member activity to improve our onboarding, retention, taxonomy, personalization, and design which led to multiple changes in our strategy, marketing, partnerships, and events.

Hired and managed contractors for community moderation, support, social media, and email marketing.

Worked with 23 HubSpot Partner Agencies and several of their clients to obtain immediate traffic and sales leads for inbound marketing campaigns by building, growing, and engaging on their social media accounts. 
Through agency growth, several writers and social media managers were hired and trained to provide inbound marketing services to more clients. 
Services grew to include assisting new and transitioning agency partners with HubSpot, setting up their new teams, sales processes, certifications, technology usage, service contracts, new client accounts, and strategies.

🔴 STAND OUT IMMEDIATELY
It's a crowded market. Job posts are receiving 750+ applications.

So I knew I needed to do something to stand out.

💡 Add the target job title to the top
💡 Add a 1-sentence "hook" below it

🔵 HIGHLIGHTED SKILLS
The problem when you have 10-20 years experience is that some of your best work gets buried at the bottom.

I added a "highlighted skills" section to pull my best bullets together so the recruiter can see them right away.

💡 Use a Highlighted Skills section if you have 10+ years experience


🟣 ATS KEYWORDS
With 750+ applications, recruiters simply can't read every resume.

To make sure I was found in their ATS searches, I put together a skills section where I could quickly add my keywords.

💡 Have 15-30 skills listed
💡 Don't list soft skills 
💡 But don't forget your tech skills!


🟠 SHORT BULLET POINTS
Shorter resumes are having a lot more success right now. It's not about a 1-page vs 2-page resume. Instead...

A study found that 350-550 word resumes tend to land the most interviews.

💡 Use 4 bullet points per job max
💡 Try to keep most of them to be 1-line long
