My work focuses on helping organizations and communities identify risks, meet compliance requirements, and build a strong security culture.

I am the Founder of Cyber Hijabi Tech, where I train and mentor women and young people in cybersecurity, digital safety, and risk awareness. 

I have delivered trainings, developed learning programs, and contributed to curriculum development in GRC and cybersecurity.

a deep desire to protect people.


I’m Maryam Shuaibu Aliyu (Cyber Hijabi)  a Cybersecurity instructor, Awareness specialist and Community Builder.


From teaching in a private school in Kano state without a laptop, to learning cybersecurity on a phone, to training women, students, and organizations my journey has been anything but linear.


But it has always been intentional.

→I’ve trained women, mentored beginners transitioning from non-tech backgrounds, →spoken at local and international events, and →led initiatives like Cyberteenz reaching 100+ secondary school students with practical digital safety education.

I believe cybersecurity isn’t just about systems.
