Yes this just happened, casual convo with a stranger (who happened to be on the radio 🤯) and someone not able to make it to her next day show made room for US!  I call this “divine alignment”. Not my plan I tell you 🙏🏽

Thank you Taylor Leadership Academy for the amazing day!  The banner, the song, the high fives - the vibes. 

I cried … my dream has come true. And it grows and changes daily. Now I need more partners, more visits, more zooms, more book fairies - I will scale this! Scaling hope for the next gen  is a must and it needs to be at schools.

So how did this particular event happen? Not all schools could do assemblies so we did a plan b, zooms + casual author visit. But I see nothing casual about this … it was real, it was heart.

Stockton Unified School District believed in the plan and partnered with me and it worked!  They became the  book fairy to thousands this fall - at this school alone, 450 kids! They also made history being the first to do this. I tell you when we can bridge tech with heart - that’s the magic right there. 

Congratulations Taylor and everyone at Stockton! It’s different times and it’s time to try and do things  … differently. 

Different, is my kind of challenge. How do I stand out, what makes it unique - I’ve been thinking like this in tech my decades. I’ve been different my whole life!

I promised an author visit on those zooms. Kids rolled eyes, but I showed up!

This was one of 3 schools schools I visited this week. All the seeds I had planted for years in tech, with speaking, writing - relationships were put on full growth blast this last 6 months and here we are - proving it works.

It’s not easy but nothing worthwhile is - is it?
