If you’re a marketer, your own website, copy, design, and content should be outstanding,  not just decent.

Honestly I agree

But what people don’t always see is:

 – you don’t have their $5M revenue and resources
 – you dont have even 10h/week to spend on your business development

Many founders ask me what’s the optimal timing to start thinking about the new product go to market. Is 8 weeks enough to prepare for a SaaS GTM?

✅ GTM engineering - yes
❌ GTM strategy - no.

👉 GTM Engineering:

- Paid ads: live in days (if you have budget)
- Cold outreach: 2–4 weeks to set up tech, warm up emails, prepare lists...

No strategy behind, testing based on assumptions.

👉 GTM Strategy:

- Real customer conversations → verify pain, needs, develop real ICPs

- Consumer journey mapping → who triggers purchase, how decisions happen, where trust breaks

- POC / pilot build + validation → prove value with real usage, not opinions

- Messaging testing → A/B test until it resonates

- Channel & offer fit → refine until CAC/LTV math makes sense

👍 Rule of thumb:

If you’re 8+ weeks before build → please, hire a product marketer/fractional CMO/GTM strategist.
