•Consistently met outcome goals tracking an average of 75% placement of recent grads within 4 months post graduation using Salesforce and Tableau
•Spearheaded the first ever virtual career fair across the bay area hosting 4 Year Up sites with 250+ interns and 400+ volunteers from across the country

Selected to participate in the Tipping Point Emerging Leaders Fellowship program. The program supports the growth and leadership skills of emerging underrepresented nonprofit leaders. The Fellowship brings together 12 mid-level managers from Tipping Point Community grantee organizations, who hone their own personal leadership style, build organizational management skills and cultivate a group of peers focused on alleviating poverty in the Bay Area.

MY STORY
I struggled alone SO MUCH when I was in college.

I'm a first generation college graduate who went from being homeless to working in a dream job in tech.

I’ve experienced all of the challenges that come along with being first generation including not having mentors or anyone to talk to about what I was going through. I worked multiple jobs while in school and felt like I wasn't good enough for internships so I never applied.

I realize now that mentorship plays such a key role in our journey. It can help us grow to our full potential and it's what helped me break into tech.

But mentorship isn't easily accessible and I believe it's not because people don't want to help others, It's because there are not enough people who have experienced mentorship and know how to give that gift back to others.

That's why my MOTTO is Lift While You Climb.


MY PURPOSE
🎯 My goal is to empower diverse young professionals and first generation college students to break into tech. I believe the key is mentorship.

WHAT I BRING TO THE TABLE
📖 For the past 5+ years I've worked in workforce development as a recruiter, career services, facilitator, and conduit supporting 1000+ diverse talent find employment at top companies.

📖📖 I've had the opportunity to be in multifaceted roles such as a Recruiting Consultant at two respectable coding schools and I’ve worked in the non-profit sector developing young diverse talent by creating pathways for them to be noticed by recruiters and hired at top companies like Meta, PayPal, Amazon, Apple, LinkedIn, Tesla, Lyft.
