On the left side of the table it encourages us to remember that tools are meant to benefit you, not become your identity. “Don’t be the slave of the instrument,” sounds easy enough — until your AI gets to be better at finishing sentences than you are.
AI may, after all, be able to offer us a longer sight line, but if we cease thinking for ourselves, we’ll be no more than tourists peeking out from under somebody else’s skull.
Collaboration’s nice, but equilibrium is what makes it all right.

Let AI crunch, sort and recommend — but let humans choose, question and decide.

And the right-hand column wisely reminds us by means of old Italian sayings: all this modernising intelligence just can’t help but cook more than it ought. 
Perhaps the secret is not feeling like you’re of the same species in the first place at work -just two minds (human and constructed) watching each other’s backs.
