Alibrate is a social network for book lovers. I started Alibrate from scratch. I built a team with a web designer and a Fullstack Javascript Jr and then the project was growing up. I started to work full time for Alibrate and hire more experienced developers and freelancers to achieve the goals that Alibrate needs. I work as CTO and also I develop code for key tasks to achieve our main goals.

Main achievements
My team and I built Alibrate reached ~1M registered users. In Google Play, Alibrate has more than 100K downloads and the KPIs continue growing.
I reduce the AWS cost with cost analysis and cost explorer (turn down instances in low traffic hours, change S3 storage class, reservation of EC2 instances, CDN with CloudFront).
We started a migration to microservices at almost zero cost with serverless (the first estimation that we made using EC2 was 60K USD per year).
I decided to migrate to Next.js and optimize the website following Google Page Speed and several performance tools. We increased the performance from 9/100 to 80/100. We started with 10K Indexed pages at the beginning of 2019 and now we have 70K and we continue growing.
I led the ebooks provider integration making our social network able to billing.

Fullstack JS in vacation packages team.
My team and I made the implementation of a new vacation packages version. This project included the creation of a new frontend project with docker deployment using jenkins, integration with new backend services, utilisation of AngularJS 1.6 libraries with components. Also we did a backoffice system in order to administrate packages with Angular Material and Node.js as backend.
In the human aspect, I had an integration role between the backend team and the frontend team because of my experience in both areas. Also I had participated in interviews process as interviewer and UX process as viewer. Sometimes I had to interact with the DevOps teams to understand some processes in AWS.

Fullstack Javascript (Node.js, Angular, MongoDB, Redis, Bootstrap) for Reservalia.
Reservalia is a product that gives to the hotels a website and a CMS. With Reservalia the hotels can sell bookings.
Achievements:
Design and implementation of the sites with a Fullstack js architecture. Development of Checkout Flow and Hotel Rates with api changes support.
Also I develop an API with node.js, hapi, swagger and mongodb. This API is for the marketing online sector and ours apps.

Whether building a robot, a table, or a system, building something from scratch implies having a specific personality to face constant changes, solve unexpected problems and look for different approaches in some moments.
