I lied about doing CMA until I cleared my CMA Inter.

Yes, I did.

And there were two reasons behind it.

First — I believe in nazar.

Second — I was completely broken after hearing the gossip in my own relatives’ circle when I failed repeatedly in CA Inter in aggregate for four times.

Every attempt came with comments.
Questions.
Judgements.

After a point, it stops motivating you.
It starts draining you.

So when I decided to switch to CMA, I treated it as a fresh start.

I didn’t inform anyone.
Except my parents.

When I registered through the direct entry route and joined my training immediately people would ask what I was doing.

I simply said:
“I’m interning.”

That’s it.

No explanations.
No announcements.

Because sometimes the best thing you can do is stay silent until you achieve something.

Negativity spreads faster than encouragement.

To be very honest, even my parents didn’t fully believe I would come this far.

But that silence helped me.

No pressure.
No unnecessary opinions.
Just work.

Sometimes protecting your dream means protecting it from people’s opinions.

So my simple philosophy became this:

Zip it.
Work on it.
Achieve it.
Then move ahead.

Not every goal needs an audience while it is being built.

This course demands extreme self-discipline.

Today, I started my day at 3:30 AM.

No motivation speech.
No dramatic background music.
Just an alarm and a decision.

I started SCM (Strategic Cost Management) yesterday.

The target is clear - Finish the subject thoroughly by the end of this month.

Today’s micro-target:

• Complete the Introduction chapter reading
• Finish the lectures on Target Costing

I’ve taken classes from CA CMA Ashutosh Lata Sir, and the only aim is simple:

Score 80+ in this subject.

Not just pass.
Not just clear.
But dominate the paper.

This is what I’ve realised.

CMA doesn’t reward random effort.
It rewards structured consistency.

Daily targets.
Weekly review.
Monthly completion goals.

No shortcuts.
No excuses.

June 2026 is not far.
The attempt will arrive faster than we think.

2019 12th passed outs will relate to this.

Because I’m one of you.

Like many commerce students, I chose CA right after 12th.
Didn’t go to regular college.
Back then, I thought it was a flex.

I cleared CA Foundation in November 2019.
Then COVID hit.
And everything changed.

Five attempts of CA Inter.
All failed in aggregate.

By then, I was 21.

I shifted to CMA.
Started articleship.
Worked full-time.
And now I’ve taken a long break to prepare for CMA Finals the break ends in June 2026.

I’m 24 now.

And sometimes, very honestly, I feel like I haven’t done much yet.
Not enough experience.
No proper social life.
No relationships.
Just exams, attempts, and restarts.

COVID stole two crucial years from our generation.
The structure.
The exposure.
The normal pace of life.

Many of us were stuck at home with uncertainty and self-doubt.

But here’s what I’ve slowly realised.

Growth doesn’t always look glamorous.
It doesn’t always look like promotions or trips or big achievements.

Sometimes it looks like resilience.
Like restarting after failure.
Like switching paths.
Like staying disciplined when everything feels delayed.

Maybe we’re not behind.
Maybe we just took the long road.

And maybe the long road builds stronger people.

If you’re 23, 24, or 25 and feel like you haven’t “arrived” yet you’re not alone.

We’re still building.

And sometimes, building quietly is the most powerful phase of all.

Yesterday I watched an amazing Tamil movie [ With Love ] 

And honestly, it was a very refreshing watch.

The movie is a feel-good romantic drama starring Abishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan, directed by Madhan.

It released in theatres in February 2026 and quickly became known for its simple, heart-warming storytelling.  

What I liked the most about the movie is its simplicity.

No unnecessary action.
No over-dramatic twists.

Just emotions, memories, relationships, and life.

The story revolves around two people who meet again through a matchmaking setup and end up revisiting their past and their old school memories, which slowly brings emotional closure and understanding.  

The movie reminds you of something important:

Life is not always about grand moments.

Sometimes it’s about:

✅ Second chances
✅ Understanding yourself better
✅ And moving forward with maturity

It’s the kind of movie that makes you smile quietly and reflect a little.

The music by Sean Roldan also adds a very soothing feel to the film.

Over the past few years, I’ve learnt something quietly.

Not from books.
Not from lectures.
But from life itself.

You start by giving people your full energy.

Your trust.

And slowly you realise something.

Some people show up only when they need something.
Some ignore you until it’s convenient.
Some compete with you silently instead of clapping for you.

Letting go of toxic people isn’t failure.

It’s definitely not easy to sit and watch lectures for 6–8 hours daily.

Then revise.

The mental fatigue is real.

I joined the gym today.

Not to build six-pack abs.
Not to transform overnight.

But to build stamina.
Discipline.
And mental clarity.

Preparation is not just intellectual.
It’s physical and emotional too.

Even 45 minutes of movement can change your productivity for the next 6 hours.

CMA is a long game.
You need strength to sustain it.

Books build your qualification.
Habits build you.

Exam Time Table

I deactivated the famous reel scrolling app because of this.

For the past few months, I was actively using it.
Scrolling. Watching reels. Occasionally posting.

And then I realised something.

It no longer feels like a happy photo-sharing app.
It no longer feels like a place to connect with friends.

It feels like an advertisement machine.

Open the app — ad.
Scroll a few reels — sponsored content.
Watch a one-minute reel — more ads.

At some point, it stopped feeling entertaining.
It started feeling exhausting.

Not just because of ads.
But because of the constant noise.

Too much comparison.
Too much distraction.
Too much consumption.

A small town girl. A Korean dream. 


And a reminder that the world is far bigger than we allow ourselves to believe.

That is what stayed with me long after the credits rolled on Made in Korea.
On the surface it looks like a simple story. 

A girl fascinated by Korean culture, chasing something that feels distant and almost unrealistic to everyone around her. 

But if you sit with it a little longer, you realise it is not really about Korea at all. It is about what happens when exposure meets ambition.

A decade ago our dreams were mostly shaped by our surroundings.
 
✅ Your city decided your options. 
✅ Your hometown decided your horizon. 
✅ The world felt big but access to it felt limited.

An army goes to war with arms and ammunition.

A CMA student walks into the exam hall with a different arsenal.

Not weapons.
But preparation.

Your real weapons are:

I scored 57 in Financial Management & Business Data Analytics. And honestly, the strategy did more work than the studying.

Let me tell you exactly what I did because if it helped me, it can help you too.

This paper is not one subject. It is two. Financial Management on one side. Business Data Analytics on the other. Most students treat it as one big paper and that is where the strategy falls apart before the exam even begins.

→ Start with BDA theory first. This section usually carries around 20 to 21 marks and is largely straightforward. Attempting it first means you are scoring early, building confidence, and warming up your mind before the heavier lifting begins.

→ After BDA theory, move straight to the MCQs. The goal is simple finish BDA and MCQs within the first hour. By the time you close that section, you are settled, you are in rhythm, and you are ready to take on Financial Management with a clear head.

→ Now when you get to FM, follow this structure without skipping a single step. First, write down the given data from the question. Then write the exact formula you are going to apply. Only after that, start solving. This is not just about presentation it is about showing the examiner your thought process at every stage.

→ Use 3 decimal PV factors unless the question specifically mentions otherwise. It is a small detail that makes a big difference in how your answer reads.

→ Write neatly. Show all workings clearly. And please do not run behind the final answer. Examiners award marks for steps and logic. A wrong final figure with correct workings can still fetch you solid marks. A correct final figure with no workings shown is a gamble you do not want to take.

→ Attempt the full 100 marks. No leaving questions blank. With clean workings and a structured attempt, 60+ in this paper is absolutely within reach.

Strategy is not a shortcut. It is what separates a good score from a great one.

I turned off my YouTube watch history. 😳

Here’s why.

Over the past few months, whenever I had free time after lectures or studies, I found myself opening YouTube.

At first it was harmless.

A few travel vlogs.
Some TN politics discussions.
Random videos here and there.

Slowly, it became a habit.

The algorithm kept pushing more content.
More debates.
More breaking news.
More negativity.

At some point I realised something.

Instead of relaxing my mind, it was filling it with noise.

Too many opinions.
Too much negativity.
Too many toxic vibes.

So I decided to reset everything.

I deleted my entire YouTube watch history.

Then I subscribed only to a few channels:

• Travel vlog channels
• One or two news channels

Once you turn off watch history, something interesting happens.

Your YouTube feed almost disappears.

You don’t get endless recommendations anymore.

You only watch:

• Videos you search for
• Videos from channels you follow

And that small change removes a huge distraction.

For CMA aspirants who watch lectures on YouTube, this trick can be extremely helpful.

Because when the feed disappears, the platform becomes a learning tool instead of an entertainment trap.

Sometimes discipline is not about fighting distractions.

It’s about removing them completely.

If you want to reach your destination, you have to wait at the platform until your train arrives.

This applies so perfectly to the CMA journey.

Many aspirants panic when they see others moving ahead.

Someone clears in first attempt.
Someone gets placed early.
Someone shifts to another course.
Someone starts earning sooner.

And in that rush, we feel like boarding any train.

Changing strategies every month.
Switching faculties repeatedly.
Jumping from one plan to another.
Comparing timelines constantly.

But not every train goes to your destination.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is wait.
Prepare properly.
Strengthen concepts.
Trust your path.

Waiting is not weakness.
It is discipline.

Your train is your preparation.
Your consistency.
Your clarity.

When it arrives, you won’t have to run behind it.
You’ll step in with confidence.
