Self-belief, self-confidence, emotional intelligence, and leadership are not optional skills for children, they are essential. Yet too often, children’s mental health is taken for granted, especially in a world shaped by constant technological and AI-driven change.

My commitment to this work comes from lived experience.

As a child and student, school was challenging for me. Beyond academics, I navigated family challenges, environmental pressures, and emotional difficulties that deeply affected my confidence and sense of belonging. I experienced anxiety, periods of depression, and struggles with eating disorders, which left me feeling unseen and unsupported. After primary school, I made a conscious decision to change, to become a better student and to take responsibility for my growth. That decision became the foundation for rebuilding my self-belief.

Taekwondo became a powerful turning point in my life. Through more than 15 years of training, I developed discipline, resilience, emotional regulation, and leadership. It taught me how to develop a mindset of empowerment—learning to lead myself with control, respect, and compassion before leading others.

Today, with over 22 years of experience as an educator and martial arts trainer, I combine education, Taekwondo, and emotional intelligence to help children and teens build self-confidence, strengthen their mindset, and navigate modern challenges with clarity. Through my Lead With Love approach, I support parents and teachers in guiding young people through an AI-driven world, where technology evolves faster than emotional maturity.

In an age of speed, algorithms, and constant comparison, human skills matter more than ever. Leading with love ensures children grow with confidence, emotional awareness, and ethical leadership, so technology becomes a tool, not a threat.

At the Winter Olympics, the USA Men’s Ice Hockey Team paused their championship celebration for something bigger than the medal.

They brought out the children of Johnny Gaudreau for the team photo.

And it was Johnny Jr.’s birthday.

Read that again.

In the middle of global pressure.
In the middle of cameras.
In the middle of history.

They chose heart.

He’s only six.

She’s only two.

And yet, in that hospital room, you can see something most adults spend a lifetime trying to understand:

Love is not loud.
It is not dramatic.
It simply says, “I’m going to save you.”

A little boy learning he’s a perfect donor match for his baby sister with leukemia.

No hesitation.
No fear about himself.
Just instinct.

❤️This is what courage looks like before the world complicates it.

Not ego.
Not recognition.
Not applause.

Just a child who sees his sister hurting and decides, in his small but mighty heart, to stand in the gap.

We talk a lot about leadership.

But leadership begins here.

In empathy.
In responsibility.
In the willingness to give something of yourself so someone else can live.

Some heroes don’t wear capes.

Some sit on hospital beds, feet not even touching the floor yet, ready to do something extraordinary.

🙌And maybe the real lesson isn’t just about bravery.

🫡The Letter He Kept for 12 Years💌

A simple school assignment.
A letter.
A few words of gratitude.

And yet… it became something much bigger.

During World War II, a man named Frank Grasberger served his country. Years later, a 9-year-old girl, Dashauna Priest, was asked to write a thank-you letter to a veteran.

She didn’t know him.
She had never met him.

But she thanked him for protecting the freedoms she enjoyed.

Frank kept that letter for 12 years.🩵

To him, it wasn’t just a school project.
It was proof that his sacrifice mattered to someone in the next generation.

Years later, they finally met.❤️

But something remarkable had happened.

The little girl who once wrote that letter had grown up and chosen a path of service herself. She joined the Army National Guard and arrived to meet Frank wearing her uniform.

Imagine that moment.

The veteran who once wondered if his service mattered…
standing face-to-face with the future he helped protect.

All because of a child’s kindness.

Sometimes we underestimate small gestures:❤️
