Product manager for a start-up product within a 30-year-old company, hired to determine if the product could be pivoted into a success.

Product Management Architect

Engaged with customers and other thought leaders to lead strategic innovation which solved real business user’s problems. The innovations took SAP to the next level in the market. Projects range from research in digital body language, earned value management, integrated management accounting and forecast to financials for the services industry. I have two patents in the process related to this work.

Director – SAP P&I Customer Engagement and Projects

Worked with a cross team of developers and subject matter experts to design the delivery of consumable, fast to value, business process EPM applications for cloud delivery. My role on the team included operational management, architectural alignment, cloud delivery and team alignment. We delivered prototypes for 3 applications in 90 days.

Director Product Management

The Solution Management role at SAP has been split into two teams, Product Owners and Solution Owners.
Transitioned from BPC to the development of the first application built natively on HANA for Strategic Workforce Planning.

SAP Business Objects

As the expert in Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), my focus was on ensuring my extensive knowledge was shared with all relevant teams at SAP. I was a major contributor in product specifications, customer escalation management and prioritization of development for the first two releases of SAP BPC. I coordinated across teams to ensure comprehensive, including destructive testing. I provided oversight on the first rollout, ramp up, of BPC on SAP Netweaver. 
While my focus was on the migration of BPC to SAP technologies, I was also key contributor in the next generation of the software: EPM 10. This was the first release to introduce BPC as part of the overall EPM suite with common components such as Excel shared across products. The user experience was unified with the other products; which marked the first development effort focused on the user not the functionality. In this process I gained respect as a leader and team player with the various teams of developers.

OutlookSoft (acquired by SAP)

Managed a team of remote Subject Matter Experts. Investigate, evaluate and prototype new concepts for the solution. Active projects included; data visualization, logic manager and next generation legal consolidation solutions. We developed conceptual prototypes.

Director, SME

Joined prior to version 2 of this start-up product launch.  From this point forward I was the primary Product Manager.  I managed the full product life cycle and assisted in all areas of the business to ensure successful sales and implementation.

BDO Seidman - WaveBend

WaveBend Solutions is a single-source e-solutions company that helps clients bridge the gap from strategy to infrastructure, at any point in the e-business lifecycle. Client project management, business requirements definition and application design were critical to my revenue generation responsibilities. In addition, I had revenue creation responsibilities including sales support, business development and internal strategic development. Due to my versatility and adaptability, I was able to meet all revenue targets while ensuring my clients were satisfied and continued to engage our services.
