I have a deep passion for traveling to immerse and explore new cultures. Eight years ago, I went on a life-changing solo backpacking trip through Central America, which inspired my move to Buenos Aires a year later. I moved abroad to gain Spanish fluency, grow and expand my mindset while immersing in new cultures. While working towards my coaching certification, I supported local candidates with career coaching and job search support. During my time in the city, I also created a fully remote career and lifestyle.

My career transitions, recruiting/HR background, remote work experience, life experiences traveling and living abroad, and coaching journey have fueled my passion for helping others find more fulfillment in their career and lifestyle. 1) Prioritize your peak hours. Prioritize demanding tasks (like tailoring resumes and cover letters) for your peak mental hours. Save lower-energy tasks for when your focus typically drops. (P.S. actually write the cover letters 😉)

2) Looking to expand your experience? Volunteer or take on projects that help you grow while contributing — mentoring, teaching, helping at local events, or supporting causes you care about. 🌿

3) ✨ Your weekly dose of mindset: Move different if you want different. 
 If you’re going after highly competitive remote roles, traditional job search methods won’t cut it. Get creative. You have to do things differently if you want different results. (PM me if you need support-this is one of my favorite things to help clients with 😉)

1. Simple and clean. Save the fancy Canva-designed resumes for direct emails to recruiters and hiring managers. When applying through job portals, use a clean, simple ATS-friendly format.

2. Be intentional. Your resume is not a list of all of your experience. It needs to be carefully crafted and targeted to highlight your value, impact, and aligned experience for the specific role.
 
3. ✨ Your weekly dose of mindset: Before diving into job search tasks, start with a grounding ritual to energize and center yourself. 
Some options to support you:
 ☀️Take a 30-minute walk in the sun
 🎧Listen to a playlist that uplifts you
 🧘‍♀️Meditate or practice breathwork for 15–30 minutes

Quarter-life crisis? Here's what mine looked like:

I'm 24, working at PwC (yes, fancy Big Four firm), living in San Francisco, checking all the 'success' boxes... and I'm completely falling apart.

The standard family holiday dialogue: 'She's doing so well! Big Four in San Francisco! Such a prestigious firm!'

And I’d smile and nod because… it looked good on paper, right? It was what I “should” want.

But my body was screaming at me (and I kept ignoring it):
•Stomach problems so severe I ended up in the ER the day of the Giants World Series Parade (and what a fun bill that was)
•Hair falling out in clumps (terrifying for any woman)
•Memory loss that scared me
•Feeling completely disconnected from myself

I basically became a shell of a human being.

That’s when I knew I had to get real about where my life was heading.

And I decided this was *not* the ladder I wanted to climb. So I made my first big career pivot from Accounting to HR, with the support of my first coach (& bless her for guiding me out of rock bottom).

And everything shifted. I escaped a bubble I didn’t even know I was trapped in.

I'd finally listened to my body instead of ignoring all of the warning signs.

If you're reading this and had to stop scrolling...

I encourage you to ask yourself:
1. Am I living *my* life or someone else's version of it?
2. Do I actually want this, or did I choose it because it seemed safe, impressive, or like what I “should” be doing?
3. If no one would judge me and money weren't an issue, what would I choose?

Don’t wait for your body to break down to start listening.

The signs are there. The question is: are you ready to listen?

1) A note to career pivoters: You’re not starting from scratch, you’re starting from experience. The power is in repositioning your transferable skills to target the shift. You may need to upskill depending on your new direction, but never underestimate the power of your transferable skills.

2) Feeling stuck in your job search? The last two months of the year are a great time to refine how you apply. Update your resume to target your desired role, a cover letter that showcases your unique value, and optimize your LinkedIn to attract aligned opportunities. This positions you well to apply through the hiring surge early next year. PM me if you need support.

3) ✨ Your weekly dose of mindset: You're not just looking for any job, you're looking for work that aligns with who you're becoming. That clarity shifts everything: from how you apply to how you show up for interviews. When you're clear on what you're calling in, the search is much more intentional. Your age isn’t the barrier. Your belief about your age is.👇🏼

In my mid-20s, I was terrified to make a big career pivot. At 29, I was convinced I was "too old" to move abroad.

Looking back? Those "late" decisions were blueprints for expansion and greater life alignment.

They led to:
✨Finding home in what was once a foreign dream (Argentina)
✨Building a remote career that actually felt meaningful and traveling South America
✨Becoming a certified coach to help others design their lives for greater fulfillment 
✨Guiding professionals from feeling stuck to deeper fulfillment in their work and lives

What I've learned now..
👉🏼I wasn't too old. My life was actually just beginning.
👉🏼Age became an excuse to avoid the scary but exciting growth I desired.
👉🏼The ‘right time’ is always when my intuition tells me so 
👉🏼Your age isn’t the barrier. Your belief about your age is.

The real question to ask isn't, "Am I too old to do this?"

It’s "How much longer am I willing to wait to feel full and alive in my own life?" 

The only permission you need is your own. 🤍

Work flexibility now comes in many forms. Remote is just one option.

→A working parent shifting from hybrid to remote to finally be present for more moments that matter and not just the milestones.
→An early-career professional choosing hybrid because they grow best with having face-to-face mentorship.
→A mid-career professional going remote to grow their career and finally live in the country they've been dreaming about for years.

The beauty of this shift? There's no one-size-fits-all.

What serves you today can evolve as you move through seasons of your life and career.

What we call “luck” is typically just a journey we didn’t witness.

Recently, I was told “You’re so lucky” on a few occasions, and each time I felt my gut twist. 

“Lucky”?! This was a compliment, but it wasn’t sitting with me.

Curious, I quickly looked up a definition of luck online. Dictionary. com defines luck as: Success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions.

By chance?! Cue the gut twist again.

👉🏼Designing our lives and reaching our dreams is an active process.
👉🏼Luck reflects a passive process. 

Of course, chance can play a role in our lives - where we're born, who we meet, timing. But reducing our achievements to only chance erases our agency and growth. 

Calling it luck invalidates the journey and the role we play in the process.  
→The phases and evolution that allow a tiny seed to blossom into the end result.
→The adversity and challenges along the way.
→The resilience and grit that are built in the process.

Reflecting on my journey, there were so many phases:
→sitting in an office with a “great career” that left me feeling empty, knowing I had to follow my gut to move to Argentina, even when no one understood
→burning out in a job in Argentina and walking away without a backup plan to build a meaningful remote career
→doing the relentless inner work and the countless tears shed to build a life that honors who I actually am

It has been countless hours of hard work and unwavering faith that have led to the freedom and flexibility to design a life true to me, sprinkled with the magic of universal support. ✨

No passive process, but rather an *active alignment*.
→The courage to follow my inner truth. 
→ Designing a life that feels true to me at my pace with patience and integrity. 
→ Aligning, trusting, and dancing with universal guidance.

So, I'm avoiding saying 'You are so lucky' to anyone.

I’m reserving ‘luck’ for St. Patrick's Day or when someone wins the lottery.

Instead, I’m using phrases that honor the journey:
“You deserve all of the beautiful things you have.”
“You worked hard for that.”
“You should be so proud.”
“You’re courageous, and it shows.”
"I can only imagine what went into this."
“I’m sure it was a journey that brought you here. I’d love to hear about it.”
“You’re inspiring me.” 
“You did that. You made that happen.”
“Thanks for showing what is possible for me, too.”

Because when we honor the journey, we remind each other of the *power* we hold to create change in our lives 💫

...not just wait for it to land by chance.
