They think it means short copy is better.

If your writing is weak…
every extra sentence makes the copy worse.

Because weak writing usually means:

So the longer the copy gets…

But strong copywriters can write long copy.

Why?

Because every line pulls the reader to the next line.

That’s why great copy follows a simple rule

The first sentence sells the second sentence.
The second sentence sells the third.

A 5,000 word sales page doesn’t feel long at all.

People read it because they want to know what happens next.

So the question isn’t
Short copy or long copy?

The real question is:

1. Deep audience understanding

Before writing a single word, I’ll answer:

• Who is the exact audience?
• What is their biggest problem?
• What are they already trying?
• What frustrates them?
• What result do they really want?

2. Clear offer angle

Most brands talk features.
Smart brands talk outcomes.

Instead of saying what the product is, we show:

• The problem it removes
• The result it creates
• Why it’s different from others

3. Scroll-stopping hooks

If the first two lines are weak, nothing else matters.
Each post will start with:

• A bold statement
• A relatable pain point
• Or a strong benefit

4. Designed for testing
We won’t guess.
We’ll test:

• Different hooks
• Different angles
• Different CTAs

Then improve based on data.
That’s the plan for this project.

My first few posts got 10–15 likes max. 

I thought I’m not posting enough.

But it wasn’t about quantity. 
It was about clarity, value, and story.

Lead with a hook.
Use real examples.
Share one insight per post.
End with a simple takeaway or question.

This encourages comments and genuine engagement.

If you do this, your next post won’t just sit there,
It will start conversations, open doors
 
And maybe even lead to opportunities you weren’t expecting.

What’s one lesson you learned on LinkedIn?

You have been scammed into believing AI will replace you.

AI is not your enemy. 
Your ego is.

The copywriter who says "AI will never replace me" 
Is already being replaced.

The copywriter who says "Let me use AI to grow" 
Is already winning.

How smart copywriters work today

They come up with the idea.
They find the right angle.
AI helps write the first draft.

Then they edit it, 
Add emotion, 
And make it powerful.

What used to take 30 minutes
now takes 10.

They handle more clients.
They produce more content.
They earn more money.

This isn’t laziness.

I got 5 leads from Instagram.
From just 33 followers.

Yes… only 33.

Let me share the full story. 

It might be a bit long

But if you're a freelancer,
This might change the way you look at Instagram.

Last month I started pitching a few UAE brands for my services.

Before reaching out, 
I did what every freelancer should do.

I studied them.
Their website.
Their content.
Their social presence.

And one thing kept appearing again and again.
Instagram.

Almost every brand was active there.

Posting regularly.
Engaging with their audience.

Building a presence.
And that made me pause for a moment.

Brands were investing their time, energy, and attention on Instagram.

So I asked myself a simple question:
If brands are here… why am I not showing up here?

So 20 days ago, I started my small experiment.

I opened Instagram and started posting.

I only had 33 followers.
One of my videos reached 320 views.

Just 320 people.

From those views…
5 people reached out to me.
5 leads.

It made me realize something we freelancers often forget.

You don’t always need a huge audience.
You just need the right people to see you.

I’m only 20 days into this journey.

Still learning.
Still experimenting.
But this small result taught me a big lesson.

In the next 5–10 years, 
The freelancers who will win will not just be the most skilled ones.

They will be the ones who are visible.

The ones who show up.
The ones who build a personal brand.
The ones who share their journey openly.

So if you’re a freelancer reading this…

Don’t ignore Instagram.

Start small.
Share what you know.
Talk about your services.

Your dreams won’t chase you, you have to chase them.

Growth is uncomfortable.
Opportunities won’t knock twice.
And doing your best is useless if it’s still not moving you forward.

So, embrace the fear. 
That’s where real change happens.

Some people will hate this message.
Some will scroll past.

But the ones who take action? They’re the ones who win. 🤝

The people who win in 2026 will have these 3 skills!

I almost didn't share this part of my LinkedIn journey.

Because it makes me look weak.

And girls aren't supposed to look weak, right?

We're supposed to have everything sorted.

Look confident. 
Pretty desk. 
Feel clear. 

Like we were born ready.

Yeah. That wasn't me.

I jumped into LinkedIn thinking one month was enough.
Adorable honestly.

I was posting every day. 
Trying every day.

And still felt like a complete fraud.

You know that feeling?

Where you're working so hard in private.
But in public you're pretending you have it together.

That was me.

On the outside, girl who has a plan.
On the inside, absolute chaos.

I'd write a post.
Read it back.
And physically cringe.

Close the laptop and walk away cringe.
Come back an hour later.

Still bad.
Eat something.

Come back.
Still bad.

This was my routine for weeks.

And the worst part?

I'd open LinkedIn and see other girls absolutely killing it.

Perfect content. 
Perfect personal brand. 
Perfect everything.

Meanwhile I'm here rewriting one caption for 45 minutes.

I genuinely thought I was the only one struggling this hard.

That maybe LinkedIn just wasn't for me.
That maybe I should quietly disappear.

But one day a complete stranger commented on my post,
"This is exactly what I needed"

I stared at that comment for a long time.
Read it again.
And again.

Because sometimes you need one person.
Just one.

To remind you why you started.
That comment didn't make me perfect overnight.

But it made me stay.
And staying changed everything.

Your self doubt is loud.
But it's also a liar.

The girl who almost quit LinkedIn?
She's still here.
Still posting.
Still growing. Alhumdullilah

And she's really glad she didn't listen to that voice.

You're not bad at it.
You're just in the middle of it.

Keep going.

To understand structure, hooks, and flow.

I would share simple lessons:

• What I learned today
• What worked in a campaign
• Mistakes I made

Send 20 DMs every day 👇

Respectful.

Your copy must match the stage.

Buyer personas aren't a nice to have.

They're the difference between copy 
That converts and copy that just... exists.

Build the person first.
