According to Leadpages, "The average conversion rate for all landing pages created by Leadpages users is 11%. However, the average eBook landing page conversion rate is 24%."

That's more than double the conversion rate.

The fact is that it's rare that a customers will ever purchase your services on their first visit to your website, or LinkedIn profile.

They will most likely first do their research, by scouting your competition before committing to a purchase.

This means if you don't lead them forward to a purchase, someone else will!

And that's where an eBook can fill the gap.

✔ Its rich in information about a problem you solve.
✔ It helps your customer get to the point of a decision.
✔ It establishes you as an authority in your field.

And most importantly it positions you as the ideal solution to solve their problem.

A good eBook should...

✔ Ideally focus on one customer persona.
✔ Identify what problems they are facing.
✔ Provide a clear path to solve those problems.

Ultimately, the goal of your eBook is to lead your customer forward to your solution.

And once you've done that, your lead is now ripe for a sale.

You gotta love people venting about how AI is screwing up the internet, flooding the feed with recycled, aggregated garbage and how we must embrace our "humanness"...

Yet (with just a sprinkle of irony) they clearly haven't even bothered to edit their very obviously "AI enhanced" but verbally disabled post, newsletter or whatever.

Now I'm not (outwardly) against using AI to be 100% transparent.

I encourage you to "build" content, by all means, go wild, do "deep" research, ideate (for days), or generate endless drafts till you jittering with ecstasy...

Yes, you have a condition!

But if you care about producing anything that will build "real" respect or authority, your reader is going to expect that you at the very least, took the time to do these three tiny, ridiculouly, obvious little things.

--> Use your own words.

By all means, use AI to help you write, but for goodness sake, use your own words, express your actual personality and delete the generic, impotent verbage.

--> At least take time to edit it!

Your readers aren't dumb, they've spent three+ years reading this shite, give them the benefit of the doubt and remove the ai-isms, it's not a good look by the way.

--> Neutralize the fluffiness! 

Give your writing (real) substance by sharing your "actual" opinions, (real) experiences because this is what "actually" adds depth, not the brain dead generalizations we read every fricken everyday.

Sounds pretty simple, eh?

Well, not if AI's got you paying for multiple tools using premium features, you still haven't figured out, but hope to... some day.

Okay, Im quizzy, how does it make you feel, when you're reading "good" content, and you suddenly get combo'd in the face with filthy ai phrases?

Is it an instant turn off, or do you go back for more?
