Kerri Accardi launched her transformative journey into the cannabis industry driven by a profound personal loss, sparking a mission to educate the world about the medicinal benefits of cannabis. Starting in December 2013, she set out to dismantle the stigma surrounding cannabis access.

She founded 420MEDIA in 2014, quickly transforming it from a simple video production company into a dynamic content creation and marketing powerhouse. Her pioneering approach has significantly reshaped public perceptions, presenting cannabis as a crucial medicinal resource through compelling narratives and powerful media outreach.

Her groundbreaking initiatives include producing the first legal cannabis tour in Seattle in 2014 and launching high-impact commercials on major networks like History, Bravo, and Discovery. A landmark achievement occurred in 2019 when 420MEDIA aired a commercial during the Super Bowl.

In 2021, Accardi expanded her influence with the launch of Cannected TV, a pioneering streaming TV service that delivers a rich blend of educational and entertaining cannabis content. Cannected TV streams on a broad array of platforms including ROKU, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, and the smart TVs of major electronics giants like Sony, Panasonic, Sharp, and TCL. This expansion into mainstream smart TV platforms marks a significant stride toward integrating cannabis into widely accessible media channels.

Looking ahead to 2025/26, Accardi is set to revolutionize cannabis engagement again with dzTV— new digital destination channel— like cable for plant wellness with a marketplace, envisioned as a "QVC for THC and 🍄 alongside Cannected TV, partner content, original series, shopping, and more!

This platform will be a hub for discovering plant-based products and services, blending the thrill of discovery with the convenience of streaming.
