The Tenement House Museum is a cultural heritage site and museum in the heart of Glasgow. Here, visitors learn about life at the turn of the 20th century through the eyes of Agnes Toward and her preserved tenement flat.
In this role, I perform the following tasks:
- Collections handling
- Collections auditing, inventory, and object labeling
- Reviewing the archival collection list and appending with additional information where necessary
- Creating an ISAD(G) description for the Tenement House archives

I managed a team of 13 external contractors to execute a total overhaul of the brand's website in both content and design. I wrote the brand guidelines that this site follows, signaling the organization's commitment to innovation, digitalization, and the energy transition.

At the same time, I honed the marketing strategy for an intrapreneurial innovation venture, whose goal is to convey market information through innovative data visualizations. I built the brand strategy from the ground up, and crafted an inbound strategy that included 3 social channels, a website, product marketing, and a PR outreach program. My efforts increased our following by 150% and our reach by 60%.

Emotional intelligence is a key competency for any successful leader and team. At Goleman EI, content takes a front-row seat in educating leaders on how to develop their own EQ.

In this B2B ed-tech organization founded by Daniel Goleman himself, I edited educational coaching certification courses for web and mobile applications and in-person trainings. I managed the website audit for content optimization, and provided strategic advice for technical and content SEO.

hibooks is a B2C app-based audiobook subscription service.

Organic
I owned the editorial process, writing and editing over 150 pieces of content in my tenure. I performed SEO research and developed a promotion strategy that drove traffic to the website. I was responsible for increasing user acquisition and conversions on the App Store by performing an audit and overhaul of the app's page for ASO (App and Play Store).

Product
In-app content was my main focus. I owned all aspects of UX content, from ideation and user research to generation and production. User retention was my core goal, and I got to train the book recommendation system as well as map a user journey that built a rapport with our user base as strong as to that of your local independent bookstore owner.

Paid
From the first contact, hibooks aims to provide a bookstore feel to its customer interactions. I wrote content for paid Facebook ads that did just that. Beyond starting conversations around reading, a delightful byproduct of my data-driven goals, my campaigns saw an increase of click and conversion rates.

Content Writer

Empathy and collaboration are at the core of great communities; I used both to engage hibooks' user base.

In this role, I assisted leads and converted customers with everything from pricing to custom book recommendations. When I started, I personally managed a crisis communication rollout that saw 2,000 monthly tickets and a 20% satisfaction rate. Within 3 months, I had automated the ticket reply process with go-to recommendations and macros and increased the satisfaction rate to 100%.

Management & Reporting
I initiated regular syncs with the Product Management team to communicate user issues and developed weekly and monthly user insights reports that I shared cross-company to take the temperature of user satisfaction.

Proudest Moments
1. I set product updates in motion to follow ADA accessibility requirements, in compliance with WCAG guidelines.
2. I started a user education program that culminated in the launch of the hibooks Help Center. I optimized this real estate regularly based on Google Analytics data, and managed design commissions in collaboration with our internal design team (GIFs, videos, and images).
