Thrilled to share that I renewed my Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ‑700) today. 🎓

This renewal wasn’t just a checkbox, it forced me to go deeper on areas that have changed a lot over the last year, especially:

- Private access to Azure services
Sharpened how I design Private Endpoints + Private DNS zones, and how to integrate them cleanly with on‑prem DNS without breaking existing name resolution.

- Hybrid connectivity patterns
Revisited best practices for Site‑to‑Site VPN, ExpressRoute, and Virtual WAN, including when to bring in things like FastPath and Virtual WAN hubs for cleaner routing.

- Modern load balancing and security
Got even more hands‑on with Front Door, Application Gateway, and Azure Firewall, especially around health probes, rules, and least‑privilege outbound controls.

I scored 85% on the renewal, comfortably above the bar, and a good reminder that there’s always room to grow. Next up: tightening my game around Private Link and DNS patterns across hybrid environments. 💪
