What's up! I'm Josh 👋

I've been a builder my whole life. In grade school, I made board games to play with my friends. In high school, I wrote short stories and a novel. I've drawn and painted since before I can remember.

14 years ago, I founded my first startup, raised funding, hired engineers, and brought my vision to market. This ignited my passion for tech.

Next, I managed a team of 36 engineers at a publicly traded SaaS company. 

Since then, I've started 3 other companies and led teams in product management, enterprise customer success, and sales. I built 3 GTM motions from the ground up and led Lavender to $1 million ARR + their series A before striking out on my own as a fractional operator and advisor.

I dream of creating new technology that changes the world, together with my friends and network.

Hyperbound pipegen in August+September was 3x that of June+July, and October is on pace to exceed August+September. 

This HubSpot report is the number of new qualified deals created in HubSpot per month for the last 5.5 months.

Summer was good to us. We added +$1 million in net new ARR two months in a row. We're on pace to keep up the streak this month.

And pipeline has ballooned in Q3.

Everyone in sales enablement has heard of our category - AI sales roleplays. Buyers everywhere are evaluating this tech, seeing us everywhere, and choosing us as the category leader.

Hyperbound invented this tech almost 2 years ago, shortly after I started advising them, and we still haven't lost a product head-to-head. Case in point, Isaac Hong closed a $500k+ deal with a Fortune 100 giant this week following a 5-month deal cycle and a heated 3-way competitive pilot.

Soooo imagine how fast we'll be growing after all of this new pipeline closes!

What are we struggling with? Number one thing is that we're running a bit too last minute on event prep right now. I've also found drops in pipegen from two historically strong sources. New sources are more than compensating, but I'm working on fixing those these issues while continuing to build for the future.

Update on October pipegen: Hyperbound booked the most meetings this month than any other month in company history, aside from our first viral launch in January 2024.

And we're much more strict today about qualifying before people can book with us. 90% of those meetings in January 2024 wouldn't be a good fit now.

2026 is going to be BIG!

Mia Kosoglow for pumping out quality content for our blog, SEO, socials, and sales team to use, as well as for learning new skills in design and customer marketing. 

Nitin Bhoopal, Jianna Ursitti, and Mohit Pathak for tackling this conference season as well as our new outbound efforts. Jianna's first day as actually flying out to do a conference with us.

Luca Rondanini for lending engineering support quickly when we need it.

Sriharsha and Atul for being on the road almost nonstop speaking at events, meeting prospects, and meeting customers.

Isaac and ☠️ Belal for also being on the road at tons of conferences, as well as collaborating with us everyday on targeting and positioning.
