5 Automation Systems That Save Time...

Amazon is updating how the existing 90% on-time delivery rate (OTDR) rule is applied to seller-fulfilled listings.

This will be effective from February 28, 2026.

This is one of those policy changes that affects the PPC behaviour inside real accounts.

For years, delivery delays could pause big parts of a catalogue without warning.

➜ Traffic kept flowing. 
➜ Campaigns kept running. 
➜ The listings carrying the ads disappeared.

Now Amazon is tightening its focus.

Listings creating delivery issues can be paused on their own, which means the rest of the catalogue continues running without interruption.

That matters for anyone running ads at scale.

Budgets do not lose direction because one SKU slips.

A few things I would keep in check after this update:

1. Shipping automation and handling time need to be set up properly.
2. Check which SKUs drive most of your ad traffic and protect them first.
3. Review Account Health regularly to stay ahead of problems.

Amazon keeps pushing sellers to strengthen their operations behind the scenes.

PPC follows whatever happens at the listing level.

If you run seller-fulfilled SKUs, check your delivery settings this week.

Amazon just added a new Agent Policy to the BSA update.

Automation inside Amazon now comes with stricter rules.

From March 4, any AI agent or automated system touching Amazon services must clearly identify itself, follow policy requirements, and stop access immediately if Amazon requests it.

This goes beyond a simple policy note.

Automation across DSP, AMC, reporting tools, and internal workflows is getting closer scrutiny.

And that matters for anyone building systems around Amazon advertising.

Here is what is interesting for me:

• Automation now needs accountability built into it
• Access and compliance are becoming part of the ad infrastructure
• Tools without governance will struggle to last

I see a lot of excitement around AI handling campaigns, reporting, or optimisation. So, the opportunity is real.

But sustainable systems come from structure, visibility, and controlled access.

- Clear processes.
- Proper API usage.
- Audit trails that make sense six months later.
