Empowering Women Through Change, offering Coaching, Wellbeing, Fitness and Nutrition, B2B & B2C.

Established Menopause 101 as an Online Business www.menopause101.co.uk helping women, thrive feel confident and empowered to take control of their Perimenopause through the Menopause Years.   As founder and business start-up I have established the online presence and built a community of followers, Digital Marketing, written e-books on How to Have a Happy Menopause, worked with Corporate Clients delivering in person events and workshops on Menopause in the Workplace, how to build and establish good Menopause workplace practices, hosted workshops on Menopause Symptoms and 1 to 1 coaching. 

Launched the “Menopause 101 Wellness Lifestyle Membership” I created this monthly recurring revenue membership to support women in Menopause, giving them a platform to share their experiences, build confidence, understand how to nourish their bodies with Hormone Balancing foods and improve their Wellness and Mental Health.  This also teaches the importance of self-care and how to check in with themselves using the Do It Every Thursday “D.I.E.T” method.

Collaborating and engaging with Managers, Leaders and Organisations that want to understand how to establish good menopause practices in the workplace and understand how they can provide and good level and empathic support for their workforce.  Both female and male colleagues, however, they're often worried they might say or do the wrong thing.  Unfortunately, still in todays society it's a subject many managers and co-workers are still uncomfortable talking about.  

In todays workplace there's a strong focus around Diversity Equity and Inclusion which "Menopause in the Workplace" is often over the looked, but the stats for the number of Women of Menopause age (40-55) are leaving the workplace faster now due to insufficient support.

Founder - Menopause 101 - Menopause Wellness Practitioner

Dell Technologies

Aligned to Dell Technologies Select, delivering Complex Transformational outcomes for Dells’ largest customers.
•	Spearheaded a strategic partnership to deliver a Global Multi-Vendor Transformation to eliminate a redundant IT infrastructure, modernise the customer operating model and improve end customer experience. Results: IT Operations and Hardware savings of >£10M pa and expected revenue increase >£50M over the next 3 years. 
•	Rescued a failing complex multi-cloud transformation programme for a large US Financial organization by putting a remediation plan in place to address the red issues, reviewing and restructuring all elements of the delivery plan in collaboration with customer senior stakeholders. Results: IT Operational & Hardware cost savings of 40$M, while securing ongoing customer relationship for Dell.   
•	Led the Global Transformation Office for the newly established Telecom Systems Business Unit including cultural change initiatives to succeed in an emerging market. Results: reduced delivery costs by £1M through automation and implementation of standard practices.  
•	Managed a Complex Cyber Transformation Programme on behalf of UBS to address the risk of Cyber exposure and vulnerabilities across their technology estate.  Results: reduced IT Regulator Risk and Cyber exposure risk after implementation of new infrastructure and increased Security protocols.  Successfully passed PRA inspection and Security Governance regulations.
•	Led the Transformation Office on behalf of HSBC.  Results: produced Finance / Operating models and Programme Structure to deliver the HSBC Vision 27 – Cloud Desktop Strategy – Virtual Connect. 

Whilst delivering the above initiatives I also established a process improvement initiative to strengthen and remodel the programme and technical governance framework. This delivered improved reporting quality, an ‘enablement theatre’ and central repository to drive best practise sharing across delivery teams.

Global Transformation Delivery Principal / Programme Director

Capgemini

Capgemini had recently won the contract take-over BAE Systems “Dragonfly” - My responsibility was to drive strategic organisational culture change refocusing an underperforming PMO and Project Management Team, made up of Capgemini, BAES and Capita resources who had recently transferred to the Capgemini Dragonfly Account. 
I introduced LEAN/Agile methods, a new PMO and governance, a Continuous Improvement forum, and a mentor and coaching programme. I also controlled portfolio risk and quality, improved customer satisfaction and stakeholder relationships, and delivered BAE Systems IT operational projects using the Capgemini Methodology. 
Results: Delivery cost savings of >£1.2M

BAE Systems Applied Intelligence

Addressed several IT Programme “issues” resolving Red to Green status, restoring good health across the portfolio and recovering costs.  I managed multiple related projects and interdependencies including risks, issues, changes, dependencies, resources, and status reporting.
Results: IT Delivery costs savings of £25K

IT Programme Manager

Successfully led and mobilised a multiyear framework for Manchester Airport Group to design and deliver a complex Business Critical end-to-end Transformation Programme as their Strategic partner. I managed 3rd party relationships and negotiated pricing. I digitized our planning and requirements capturing process, improving accuracy, productivity, and delivery quality. I produced an innovative transformation approach and communication strategy to deliver on the customer’s strategic objectives.
Results: saved £1M in operational costs & Secured New Business circa £4M

Barclays UK

Following a PRA Ring-Fencing Policy Statement, resulting in a split of the Barclays Group the Cyber Function was established.  I then moved to Barclays UK, (Barclaycard Cards UK and Barclays UK Retail). 
•	Overhauled an immature Cyber Risk Function to establish a fully functioning Global Vulnerability Management Team integrating best practices.   
•	Hosted Operational Risk and Security Assessments / Reviews to determine cyber vulnerabilities; Internet Web Based Services and Banking Mobile Apps.

Barclaycard

I delivered against a Cyber Security Policy following the PRA ring -fencing statement which enabled Barclays to pass PRA inspection after the Barclays Group split. I also established a Vulnerability Management Team and process, integrated into DevOps / SDLC, and improved the speed and quality of vulnerability remediation. I reduced the backlog of vulnerabilities from 130 to 25 in 2 weeks and led multiple DevOps Teams to maintain momentum. I hosted Operational Risk and Security Assessments for Web and Mobile Services. I supported the Cyber Risk function during the UK Bank transformation ensuring a smooth transition.
Results: reduction in vulnerabilities, improved speed in resolving vulnerabilities and reduced regulatory risk

Responsible for ensuring the Channel Integration across multi global regions of the CIM (Customer Interaction Manager) Global Solution.  Providing IT and Business, consultancy to regional PM's,  ensuring plans are robust and deliverables are agreed and achieved. Strong Stakeholder Management required across multi cultural regions, globally.  A revenue generating programme, Business Benefits must be clearly defined which are key to a success delivery.  First key business deployment in Hong Kong has been achieved.

That's not because I was bad at my job, the very opposite, but I would often end up working with the customers who programme had turned a very bright shade of red, and I would be parachuted in to fix it!  On most occasions successfully I might add.

Over the years I have worked with global corporations and emerging businesses alike, establishing business growth strategies, transforming IT & Business operations, reducing costs, and increasing profitability across industries.

I’ve built businesses from the ground up, including my own IT Consultancy, Business & Growth Strategy Consultancy, and Menopause Wellness Practice. This journey has provided me deep insight into the challenges faced at every stage of building a business.
