Alhamdulillah, I have successfully completed my 6 weeks Internship at IESCO (www.iesco.com.pk). It was really an amazing experience as I had a Hands-on experience of the Electric Grid System. Electric Grid is an electric power system that supplies power to homes and industries.

In the first half, I learned about the Synchronous Generators, Isolators, Earthing Switches, Bus-Bars, Transformers, Transmission lines, Relays, Circuit Breakers, Lightning Arresters, Current Transformers (CT), Potential Transformers (PT).

I spent my last two weeks at P&I (Protection & Instrumentation) Division where I learned about different Instruments like Transformers, Control Panels, Bus Couplers, Capacitor Banks, etc, their Name Plates, and Diagrams and I have also seen some pre-commission testing of the Power Transformers. 

I am thankful to Allah Almighty for all the blessings.
