In August of 2016, I set out to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done (before having a kid)! On the final push of a 19,341' climb, I had to talk myself out of quitting through every cold, oxygen-deprived step. My climbing buddy and I took turns pushing each other (not quite literally). I truly believe that pushing the limits on what you think is possible is what makes you stronger. I try to push myself and others past those mental limits with every piece of content or project. What's the point if we aren't getting better? My favorite days at work, are those days where you push so hard that, even if you have a little headache, you know you will wake up tomorrow a little bit smarter. My drive and energy has led me, and any team I am leading, to greatness. My skills and talents are best positioned for the B2B SAAS VP or Head of Marketing. I am open to many industries but I do have a soft spot for the "boring" industries (not my words!) finance, banking and healthcare IT. I have deep experience in industries that need to educate their market, intense seasonality, and have technical buyers. Over time, I’ve stopped optimizing marketing for marketing’s sake.

I care less about how good a dashboard looks — and more about whether sales trusts what’s coming through, whether targets survive basic math, and whether our decisions hold up downstream.
