From 1 February 2019, I am available as an independent marketer for small marketing projects or (online) marketing advice. From 360-degree marketing strategy to execution (hands-on and/or managing specialists). My specialism lies mainly in: e-commerce, webshops, websites, Growth Hacking, start-ups, social media, content, Wordpress, Woocommerce, search engine findability (SEO and SEA), ASO (findability in the Google and iOS app stores), community building, events, co-marketing, e-mail marketing, marketing automation, videos & commercials and advertising via Google Ads, YouTube and Facebook/Meta Ads. 

The different industries I have gained experience in are in both B2B and B2C. From smart window decoration to menswear to the software industry, mobile apps and the harddance music/events scene, among others.

As a freelancer in 2023, I was mainly involved in the (online) marketing, PR and event management of various festivals, events, artists, music labels and associated merchandise in the evenings and weekends. Mainly involved in developing and maintaining websites, content, social media posts, managing Facebook groups, Meta ads, newsletters in Mailerlite and Mailchimp, among others. 

In summer 2023, I managed to sell out the first edition of Hardclassics festival for 7000 visitors. In February 2023, we sold out the Hemkade in Zaandam with Reminder Classics with around 4,000 visitors. For both events, i had conceived and created the new website and helped with the online marketing.

Dedictated To Hardstyle

At the moment, mainly busy helping to manage the Dedicated To Hardstyle community and various small promotions and paid collaborations. Here, I devise the content of the collaborations myself or together with the clients.

Community manager & online marketer

As a marketer actively involved in the entire strategy and also moderator of the 'Dedicated To Hardstyle' community. This very lively community started as a Facebook page and Facebook group. 

Later, an Instagram account, YouTube channel and several Spotify playlists were added, among others. In the past, we launched a webshop with its own merchandise line (https://store.dthardstyle.com/), and several times added new products. Moreover, we launched our general website https://dedicatedtohardstyle.com/, for which I have been writing articles daily for about 2 years or improving and/or adding to those of my partners/colleagues. 

I also come up with unique content for the website, social media channels (Facebook page, Facebook group, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tiktok). In the FB group, various parties such as event organisers, artist management and artists are already doing marketing and we are increasingly collaborating with these parties with, for example, Spotify takeovers for the biggest Hardstyle label or other marketing activities around a new event or new album. Currently, I am busy expanding the collaborations with these partners and arranging spots on the press lists for various events. 

We did an auction called 'Serious Hardstyle Request 2018' on behalf of Dedicated To Hardstyle for charity. This is also where I actively help out for content writing, contact with artists, labels and organisations. 

We also have first events of our own since 2019 and have other big plans together with various organisations.

I started helping with the Social Media marketing of a friend who is an internationally known DJ in the harder styles of dance (mainly Raw hardstyle), called "Jason Payne", in my spare time since 2017. Among other things by managing his official fang group on Facebook. The number of members has doubled in a short time. I have been able to set up win actions with external parties and have organized various fan meetings at major events such as Defqon, Qbase, Decibel. I also helped with livestreams and his own events.

As Online Marketing & Operations Manager at Levante Fietsen I am responsible for all online and offline marketing, the recently renewed (Shopify) webshop and various technical, sales, and customer service-related processes. Most tasks I perform hands-on, or I direct experts, freelancers, (marketing & design) agency's in those areas.

All to grow the online sales of our new electric bike brand as fast as possible.

Online Marketing responsibilities include:
•	Webshop: Website optimizations for desktop and mobile, conversion rate optimization (CRO), building landing pages, adding and optimizing products, processing orders, etc.
•	Paid Social Media: LinkedIn, TikTok, Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger), primarily for lead generation, traffic & branding.

•	E-mail Marketing: Newsletters, marketing automation flows & transactional e-mails.
•	SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Organic search engine marketing on-site & link building.
•	SEA (Google Ads): Search, Shopping, Performance Max, display & video (via Google Ads, Digital & Display 360 & DPG Media).
•	Marketplace (Marktplaats.nl) ads.
•	Online trade publications (B2B & B2C). National and local (online) media such as: NRC (and NRC webshop), Trouw, Financieel Dagblad, ND.nl, Kieskeurig.nl, Almeredezeweek.nl, Topicmedia.nl and more.
•	Automations via Zapier to automatically place leads from social leadads into Klaviyo and follow up with e-mail marketing.
•	Setting up pixels, conversion APIs, tagging, UTM codes for analytics, and targeting audiences.
•	Photo and video design & designing display banners.
•	Review marketing / social proof (Trustpilot, Loox, Google).
•	Analysing data and conducting A/B tests.

As E-commerce manager PoweredBlinds Netherlands I'm mainly responsible for the Dutch PoweredBlinds webshop: https://www.poweredblinds.nl. Besides Poweredblinds.nl i'm also working on multiple things for other Poweredblinds webshops (BE, DK, DE, FR, UK and SE) and the growth to expand to other countries. I'm main responsible for the (online) communication for PoweredBlinds NL.

I am also responsible for the (online) expressions and marketing for Poweredblinds and external parties writing about Poweredblinds. 

My responsibilities includes newsletters (Mailchimp), marketing automation, findability in search engines (SEO and SEA), social media organic, social shop & social advertising and all other online advertising such as display ads in Adform & Google Ads. 

Moreover, I help with the roll-out of new Poweredblinds webshops in other countries such as Germany, France and the Scandinavian countries. With Poweredblinds.nl, I have been achieving all KPIs and more turnover than the pre-set revenue goals and set targets for 3 years now. 

With 43% less marketing budget than in 2022, Poweredblinds NL still grew 20% in 2023 (above the pre-set target).

The 2020 annual sales had grown tremendously by more than 30% compared to 2019 partly due to my efforts.
