Responsible for directing the day-to-day financial operation activities within PCK finance department. An integral part of the finance staff and responsible for the following :
• Overall accountability and responsibility for the general accounting function, including timely and accurate transaction processing, account analysis, reconciliations and schedules, and fixed asset and inventory/cost accounting.
• Takes full ownership of the PCK integral profitability reporting.
• Takes complete ownership of International Transfer pricing and PCK worldwide Integral Cost prices.
• Responsibility and accountability for the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and ensuring results are submitted to Philips Corporate on-time.
• Supervise Accounts Receivable staff members to ensure timely collection and good credit management.
• Supervise Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.
• Contribute to the development of ad hoc financial analysis of various business issues or trends. 
• Leads the finance effort with transiting to SAP. 
• Plays a lead role in supporting operational process improvement initiatives throughout the organization including system assessment. 
• Ensure Sales and Use Tax Compliance
• Drive best in class Finance improvement actions related to business planning & reporting.

Manager, Accounting Operations

Integrate Genlyte Accounting with Philips.
	Set up Oracle Accounting system.
	Responsible for BU closing and consolidation process covering all entities.
	Meet reporting/ other requirements for broad client base including; Corporate Control, PENAC, Tax group, Audit, Treasury, Canada Fiscal, Business Group, Business Unit Site teams.            
	Provide advice/council for all GL and IFRS compliance covering all BU entities.  
	Execute assignments relating to ICS & Sox Processes for BU.
	Manage Internal and External audits.
	Manage Head Quarters transaction responsibilities. 
	Accounts payable processing and Payroll reconciliation.
	Treasury activities.
	Monthly analysis and reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts for Business Unit.
	Accounting for Corporate Fixed Assets.
	Accounting for Corporate Restructuring projects.
	Intercompany reconciliation/Ranking/Follow up of differences.
	Manage/Maintain Cost centre and GL Master Data within Oracle.

Responsible for preparing Inventory control calculation, slow moving inventory impact and Warranty Accounting
Analysis of expenses by cost center, GRIR, PPV and preparation of distribution matrix

	Led the project Team in successful migration of Accounts payable and General ledger process from NA to Shared service center, Chennai working closely with the NA Project Management Team

	In charge of inter-company accounting functions, GL Reporting, Balance Sheet preparation, Accounts Payable and Finalization of Accounts for 4 NA locations involving reporting for 7 ORUs
	Core responsibility areas include workflow management in SAP, fixed assets accounting, preparation of Profit & Loss account for each business, GSA and monthly stock revaluation
