This was an opportunity too good to pass up. I had the chance to build a B2B content marketing program from scratch in an industry -- craft beer -- that I was immensely passionate about, and for a brand that I truly loved. I also had the chance to think beyond content by stretching myself professionally as a marketer, not just a content person. 

Sadly, due to a shift in company strategy heading into 2019 it was determined that they no longer needed a B2B marketing program.  But, what a fantastic seven months it was! In that short time, I helped Lord Hobo Brewing Co.: 

+ Create a content marketing program for retail & distribution customers via blog posts, monthly marketing newsletters, direct mail campaigns, and product and sales enablement materials.  
+ Produced a newsletters that consistently had 40% - 50% open rates and approximately 15% click through rates; and direct mail campaigns that produced an email response rate of 10% - 12%. 
+ Built a marketing list from zero contacts to 1800 in six months.
+ Implemented Hubspot CRM to manage marketing contacts and activities. 
+ Was invited to speak on a B2B marketing panel at LeadsCon Marketing Conference and create a virtual webinar for Chief Marketer on building a B2B marketing program for a brewery.

A young millionaire man (born on third base with a gold plated spoon in his mouth, prolly) can’t be bothered to google what his tax dollars are going towards, so he might consider moving out of Massachusetts because of taxes.

But hey Sam Slater, just so you know, $430M of the $1B raised from this tax has gone to provide free school lunch to every student in this state every day of the school year. That’s a bigeffing deal for families and communities that don’t exist in your tax bracket. 

it also goes to pay for free tuition to community college so other less fortune citizens can pull themselves up by their bootstraps (I think that’s a thing rich people say to slander the less fortunate) to improve their lot in life. 

And yes, it also supports transportation programs but not the T or the cape cod bridges. 

piece of advice: you might be a good person but this makes you look so bad and uninformed and you should probably fire your comms person who talked you into this.
