Providing locally and regeneratively grown, healthy, agricultural products to residents of Western Wisconsin.  Owner and operator of New Columbia Acres, a small-scale, regenerative livestock operation.  We promote a healthy and thriving ecosystem by rotating our various herds of animals around our pasture and our hillside.  We generate business success and consumer passion by selling direct-to-consumer locally at the Menomonie Farmers' Market.

Apex Solar Power

Providing residents of New England the opportunity to acquire solar power for their personal residence in support of their goals for energy independence!  Coordinated with a team of four individuals to work with customers to find their desires, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process as it relates to solar energy systems and information.  Synchronized with outside sales and solar consultants to discover new sales leads through business directories and client referrals. Friendly, well-spoken, and ready to close the deal.  Quickly grew to become the number one sales representative in the department.

Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron 9 (VX-9)

Operational Test Director for System Configuration Set H10, Mode 5 IFF, and NIFC-CA.

Provided US Naval Aviators the latest in hardware and software upgrades by building and strengthening relationships and developing a solid foundation in test and evaluation.

-Led a team of aircrew and analysts in the three-year-long planning, execution, collection, analysis, and reporting on critical software and hardware upgrades for the U.S. Navy F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft.

-Adaptive execution resulted in an on-time and under-budget delivery of the SCS H10 project and saved the government over $1,000,000 on a project worth over $16 million.

-Directed test planning and integration between test organizations creating an efficient exchange of NIFC-CA project information and saving the government over $2,000,000. 

-Safely facilitated two major off-site squadron detachments for six aircraft and 150 personnel allowing the completion of eight critical test evolutions with no degradation in squadron functionality.  Detachments include MCAS Kaneohe Bay, HI, Pt. Mugu, CA, and St. Louis, MO.

Strike Fighter Squadron 102 (VFA-102)

Synchronized the efforts of three branch heads, four section chiefs, and 55 personnel in five work centers conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 13 F/A 18F Super Hornets.

Leadership contributed to a squadron above average 98% flight completion rate.

Ensured Aircraft Division “On Track” evaluation during 2010 Aviation Maintenance Inspection.

Awarded Navy Achievement Medal for accomplishments as simultaneous Aircraft Division Officer and Mission Planning Officer for a highly visible three-month period encompassing two operational deployments on the USS George Washington (CVN-73).

Maintained the critical mission loads and computer software on six computers required for daily flight operations and training.

Persistence ensured no delays or missed evolutions due to technical concerns and guaranteed availability of vital mission planning computer based assets during both shore and carrier based operations.

Chosen to be both Mission Planning Officer and Aircraft Division Officer during key shore/carrier transition and Aviation Maintenance Inspection.

Led 11 personnel in the planning and upkeep of all squadron spaces during an aircraft carrier transition period.

Innovative planning resulted in no delays or loses to productivity in the work centers and a re-designed Ready Room layout.

Guided 12 personnel in the day to day maintenance and upkeep on F/A 18F survival equipment.

Administration resulted in no injuries to aircrew or maintenance personnel.

Aviation Structural Mechanic - Safety Equipment Branch Head

Strike Fighter Squadron 102 (VFA-102)

Facilitated three personnel with the administration of the command drug prevention program.

Ensured squadron compliance with Navy policy by timely and accurate reporting of all 250 command personnel to the proper institutions.

Urinalysis Branch Head

Conducted student training in propeller and jet powered aircraft while analyzing current tactics to prepare for upcoming fleet introduction.  

Selected in the top 10% and sent to the forward deployed forces in Japan to represent America and be immediately ready for operational deployment.

From flying F/A-18E/F Super Hornets over the Pacific to building a small regenerative farm in Wisconsin, my career has been about embracing new challenges, connecting with people, and finding common threads across every role. 

Starting my professional life as a Naval Officer, I had the incredible opportunity to work alongside driven individuals, navigate the skies, and immerse myself in cultures I’d never imagined visiting. My experiences—from Japan’s mountainsides to California’s deserts—sparked a deep curiosity for learning and exploring that has fueled my entire journey.

After transitioning from the military in 2017, my wife and I dove into the world of self-employment, launching our own business, a small farm, New Columbia Acres. From sales and customer outreach to hands-on agricultural training at the Farm School in Massachusetts, every experience has been about connecting with others and working toward shared goals. Over three exciting years, we raised animals, shared our products with our community, and formed lasting friendships with the people we met at the farmers’ market.

In 2021, with our family growing, we moved back to the DC area, bringing along the many lessons our farm taught us: resilience, adaptability, and the art of building connections. Whether managing operations, developing strategies, or guiding a project to success, I see each role as a chance to connect with people, learn from them, and make a meaningful impact together.

Today, I’m passionate about growth—both my own and that of others. With a background in aviation, business ownership, and agriculture, I bring a unique blend of skills in technical writing, operations, sales, and communications.
