A brand-new, global meeting place for creative people from every industry, across the creative sector. This is a first-of-its-kind, online membership experience for anyone who has a creative business – or wants to start one.For the CE team, I oversee the strategic design of the community events including their public and members programmes, I work with a selection of partners on their perks and benefits section, write articles and round-ups for the CE journal, and curate their Founder Member community.

Designed the launch programme and subsequent monthly programme at The Wing London, A five-story townhouse in the heart of Fitzrovia. Highlights of the 6-month programme of events included Caroline Criado Perez, Girl New York, Emma Dibari, Naomi Shimada and Dawn Butler MP as well as a number of high profile brand activations in the lifestyle space including Hello Fresh, Facegym and Missoma.

The Collective

Working within the Growth and Brand Department at The Collective to 'Bring the best of what's happening in London to our members living rooms'  I design, create and produce our buildings long term cultural programming, partnerships and creative commissions strategies as well as overseeing offsite audience building events and launch event activity. As well as vision setting I manage a team of four (Brand Partnerships Manager, Cultural Programme Associate, Creative Content Producer and Events Intern) as well as working closely with our customer experience teams and community teams. This year, I have commissioned a number of 'never done before' projects for the brand including a very exciting scent project that aims to bring together a 'collective scent' and a sound design project with University of the Arts Londons MA cohort. The Collective believes the event programme is the perfect, visceral manifestation of the brands core value 'Be More Together' and so the programme is the cornerstone to our wider content across social media, blog posts, in the press and beyond.

SOHO WORKS is an international network of 24/7 workspaces from Soho House & Co, designed and equipped to support a membership of individuals and businesses in the creative industries launching in November in the Tea Building; Shoreditch.

Curating/booking/managing events for Shoreditch House: Over 30 events a month across the whole cultural spectrum including Music, Literature, Trends, Marketing, Innovation, Film, Art, Design, Urbanism, Architecture, Business skills, Life Coaching and everything in between.

Arts and Culture Events Programming Manager; East London

Development and management of one of our core growing demographics for the group; My position runs throughout all of our UK sites for the worlds only global members club and global creative community. 

In 2012 I worked on a year long project with YCN (Young Creative Network) to launch their new professional award, which would be judged and hosted in London, New York and Berlin. The point of contact for this creative partnership, we were successful in our aims to engage the design community in those areas through events, PR, and a mentoring scheme which matched winners of the professional award with winners from the YCN student awards. The pilot for this scheme was titled 'working lunch'

Founded in 2009 as a punk choir Gaggle were immediately included in NME’s Top 50 Most Innovative Acts. They have developed into one of the most exciting performance companies in the UK, gaining critical acclaim across their diverse body of work, including opera, pop records, video, apps, pop ups, immersive theatre and comedy. Commissions include Southbank Centre, Royal Albert Hall, ICA, Women’s Library, Fig 2, Almeida Theatre, Bicester Village, TopMan, Channel 4 and BBC Radio 4, with performances at festivals and arts venues across the UK and Europe. Gaggle’s music has been released by Transgressive Records and was part of the 2012 Paralympics opening ceremony as well as sessions on Radio 1, Radio 3, Radio 4, 6Music, XFM, NTS & Resonance.

The Battersea Power Station Christmas tree projections are now live and open to view! This year’s display features a stunning selection of work by some of the UK’s most exciting creatives, including Muragiah, Oliver Jeffers, Lakwena, and David Shrigley. In addition, there are projections of designs by the public, all created digitally on iPads. It's inspiring to see how the Today at Apple workshops have encouraged people across the country to get involved with drawing and creativity. Last night, even Kylie Minogue got in on the action! And as the cherry on top, Munya Chawawa, our campaign cheerleader, will be at the Covent Garden store on Tuesday 9 December at 4.30pm to talk about leading such a massive campaign, content creation, and his amazing new legacy project, Black Boys Theatre Club.
