How I prepare for an online meeting

I treat it like an in-person meeting.

Most people jump on a call.
I prepare like a lunatic 😅

My pre-call routine:

→ I read the person’s LinkedIn profile like a human
→ I check the company page and recent posts
→ I go through the website, offer, positioning, and messaging
→ I write my prep notes + questions in advance
→ I test my setup: laptop, camera, light, microphone
→ I do a quick run-through of my opening + key points
→ I even brush my teeth and dress properly… haha

Then on the call:

→ I take notes (and record when appropriate)
→ I follow up with a clean summary + next steps

It’s a small habit, but it changes everything: 
I do 80% of the work before the call, so the call is about the right next step.
