and suddenly i’m unboxing a Creatorbuzz  hat, a DJI mic (!!) and so many more gifts i can’t even show here - that made me realize…

i’ve officially hit 1 year at Creatorbuzz 🥹🐝

this year stretched me in the best ways - from stepping into a field i never saw coming, to slowly finding my rhythm to finding my voice in this industry (literally now, with this mic 😭).

beyond the work, i’m grateful for the people - the ones who cheer me on, give me feedback that makes me better, and send little surprises that make my day (special shoutout to Vin 🥹).

and the best part? hitting 1 year just as we crossed $1M ARR - what a ride and we’re just getting started!! 🐝💛

here’s to year two ✨

Just came back from a week in Zanzibar and I’m still smiling like someone who swam with dolphins (because I did 🐬).

It was one of those rare moments that remind you how small you are and how beautiful the world is.

Honestly? Top 10 life experiences. Zero regrets. Maybe one sunburn.

Back to work now but I’m keeping that ocean-level peace energy for as long as I can 😌😭

People are actually replying to it - which feels illegal because… I’m out of office 😂

So many pitches I’ve seen sound like:

“Hi, I’d love to collaborate, here’s my deck.”

It lands… and then disappears just as quickly.

From working in influencer marketing, here’s what I notice tends to work: 

- The email goes to the right person (social/marketing/partnerships) - not the CEO, and not the shared team inbox that no one checks😂 (Unless the CEO is wild enough to run campaigns himself 👀)

- The creator’s name has already shown up for them on LinkedIn before (likes, thoughtful comments). By the time the email lands, it doesn’t feel random.

- The intro is short enough to skim on a phone.

- There’s one proof point (a stat, past collab, or link). That’s what gets screenshot internally. And if it’s your first collab, that’s totally fine too.


And the ending? Honestly, it’s not that deep.“Would you be open to exploring?” / “Who’s best to connect with?” - all the same.😅

At the end of the day, brands just want to feel like you see them before you pitch. That tiny bit of effort upfront does way more than the perfect email ever could.🫶🏽🧚
