My mission is to digitize the financial services OBOS delivers to 5,000+ housing companies.

In addition to digitalization, I have operational responsibility for the services provided by 120 accountants and accounting assistants.

I have partnered with and implemented services from young Norwegian tech companies such as Semine (AI accounting platform), Lucidtech (AI powered data capture) and Shift-X (visual process tool) in order to deliver the future of financial services to our customers. 

With a passion for process innovation, I am responsible for the entire division's strategic investment in standardization and automation of processes. Both organic as well as with the help of robotics, AI and no- code tools. 
In 2023 the responsibility grew to include divisional responsibility for AI, Sustainability and Business de-velopment. 
In 2024 I initiatied and are now directing a pilot project where we will implement artificial intelligent assistants (Copilot) for 500 employees. The pilot will form the basis for a possible group decision on the introduction of AI assistants.

OBOS Factoring AS

OBOS Factoring is a licensed service provided by OBOS.  It helps housing associations optimize cash flow and reduce administrative burdens by managing their accounts receivable efficiently. We are a professional board with two lawyer-directors, an external anti-money laundering leader, and two external members: a CFO and a CEO with an economics background. 

Since I started, we have significantly increased earnings and improved quality, resulting in no remarks from the auditor.

Tandem AS is an accountancy firm that provides services in consultancy, HR, payroll, and systems support relating to the transition to cloud-based accounting systems.
I strengthened the focus on diversity, increasing the number of women in top management. I learned a lot about Mergers and Acquisitions as I was part of the team negotiation when OBOS sold the company to ECIT AS in 2022

Overall responsibility for customer relations within banking, finance, and insurance. Both in Norway and in the Nordics. This included customer development, renegotiations, and key account management. 
I led a team of senior key account managers and was part of the commercial management team.

Kredinor SA

“Region Oslo” was the largest of three regions in Kredinor. As regional director, I was responsible for almost 70% of the company's turnover, as well as the region's 150 employees. 
I was a member of the management team and reported to the CEO. 
The position included overall customer responsibility for customers in the region within industries like banking, energy, and telecom to name a few. I also had the overall responsibility for Kredinor`s special services like invoicing, long-term debt collection, and international debt collection.
We renegotiated several contracts, landed new customers, and successfully onboarded a large customer within telecommunication, making a profit in the first year.

As divisional director for banking/finance, I had the overall responsibility for Kredinor's customers within banking/finance. Customers like DNB, Nordea, Santander, and Bank Norwegian.  I was responsible for the division's results and development, including strategy, customer relations, operational operations as well as the development of services and products.
I was a member of the management team and reported to the CEO. 
Together with my team, I proposed what would become the company’s digital strategy, as well as implemented the first RPA processes.

I am a strategic visionary and commercially inclined leader. I have been fortunate to work in various industries, with responsibilities ranging from legal advisory, commercial responsibility, accounting management, digitalization, and sustainability. I am motivated by change and see many business opportunities in both the digital and the green shift.

During my career, I have held many leading roles, such as Director of Digitalization, Commercial as well as Operational Director, and board member in different companies. In my role as Commercial Director, I was responsible for clients like DNB, Santander, Nordea, and Telia, where building relationships and driving business development were central.

I am easily engaged, and enjoy motivating others. This has been the key to success in my role as a leader for 120+ engaged and skilled employees. I am a strategic leader, and nothing energizes me more than developing people. In 2021, we implemented Semine.ai and have, with the help of artificial intelligence, automated key processes and so far freed up 6+ FTE’s. I have since received divisional responsibility for AI and Sustainability and will be the first division in OBOS to implement CoPilot.

I completed an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2023. Continuing to develop as a leader and staying updated on the latest developments in business is important to me. As part of the study, I had the pleasure of studying at Yale, NUS (National University of Singapore), and Stanford. The study was a result of being awarded a scholarship from the Swedish-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in 2021. Excerpt from the jury's reasoning: “Hilde is identified by OBOS as a dedicated, innovative talent with strong leadership qualities, interested in technology, and has a passion for sustainability. Hilde is energetic, well-respected by her colleagues, and has the potential to hold leading positions in the future.”

My key qualifications are strategy, change management, digitalization, and business development. As well as a formal background in law. 

I believe that the digital, as well as the green shift, will open many exciting business opportunities. Being able to give people and companies superpowers through AI is incredibly exciting.

Yesterday I joined the Innovation Panel at the #OsloProptechSummit – the Nordic festival for innovation and tech in real estate ✨

The discussion, led by the excellent Tobias Studer Andersson from Sopra Steria, explored how we can make innovation truly valuable in practice.

I got the question: “Is innovation a cost or an investment?”
My take was that we should rather ask: What is the cost of not innovating? 
At the same time, it’s important not to underestimate the challenges along the way.

A key takeaway I think we all could agree on is that collaboration with startups can spark new ways of thinking and help build a more innovative culture. And that is something every established company needs to stay relevant.

I am an experienced, commercial leader with a strong background in customer relations, business and strategic leadership. A lawyer by trade, a leader by heart. 

I thrive as a first mover, and in my current position, I work with several Norwegian tech start-ups. Together we have automated a substantial number of processes using AI. 

I am passionate about sustainability, and the combination digitalization and sustainability makes me optimistic for the future! 

In 2021 I was awarded an MBA scolarship from Norrwegian-Swedish Champer of Commerce, and I am currently studying at Stockholm School of Economics alongside full time work.
