Turns out, the algorithm isn’t playing by the old rules anymore.

LinkedIn quietly swapped its ranking system with a new #AI model that actually reads your content like a consultant.

Forget posting at 7:43 AM, hashtags, or engagement pods.

This thing doesn’t care.

Now it looks for clarity, context, and real expertise.

It literally studies what you write and who you engage with
and then decides which world you belong to.

So yeah, every like, comment, and post you touch is training your own algorithm.

Why this matters though?

Your content is not dying but it is getting trained on the basis of what you feed it with.

What can help???

Warm up the algo before posting. 
Engage with relevant content 10–15 mins prior.
Keep your first line crisp. The AI reads it like a headline.

POV: It’s 2026 and your marketing still depends on “ChatGPT’s best prompts.”
Trust me, the hook might be basic.. but stay with me ...

Crazy, I must say.

We’re prepping for holiday campaigns while trying to fix the stuff we ignored all year.

And let’s be honest… in B2B marketing, there’s a strategic shift happening.
It is slow but loud.

Every brand is reviewing last year’s goals, last year’s “big ideas,” and trying to make them make sense for next year. 
Spoiler: half of it doesn’t.

Because the truth is… you didn’t miss “marketing.”

You missed building systems inside your budgets.

And instead you bled cash on things that never moved the needle.

What 2026 is ACTUALLY asking from you:

1. Don’t kill the channels that feed you just because AI got loud.

Take a slow maneuver, and not a dramatic pivot. Not “AI will replace everything.”, but it will alot YES.
But handing the whole engine to AI? THINK ABOUT IT.  Sometimes AI facilitates. Sometimes it shouldn’t lead.

2. Repurpose your best content like your life depends on it.

Because honestly… it does. It’s not 2020 anymore.
If your message isn’t consistent across channels, it’s like speaking five different dialects to one customer. They’ll pick someone who speaks one language well.
Also, have you ever heard of priming? No?

3. Fix the damn leakage.

Everyone wants “new channels, new funnels, new hacks,” but the leaks inside your existing pipeline are costing you more than the new channel will ever earn you.

Real example:
One of my clients was pouring money into Google Ads. Great traffic, solid leads.
Then they plugged in a new solution of AI calling to Google leads, and AI that instantly called and confirmed appointments the moment a form was submitted.
Guess what happened? Lead-to-meeting ratio tripled, not because of a new campaign.
But because they fixed the broken system between “form fill” and “show-up.”

4. Work your CRM like it’s the only asset that belongs to you.

Lead nurturing isn’t a “nice to have.”
In 2026, it’s the difference between closing deals… or letting them rot in your HubSpot like an abandoned grocery cart.

If you love your company, love your marketing too.
Because it’s the only thing standing between the business you have and the business you could’ve built.
