A productive meeting with the steering committee of the ‘Season of Wulfa’, where we followed up on the progress of initiatives, assessed their outcomes, and ensured they are meeting their objectives in a way that strengthens their community impact.  We reviewed the performance of the ‘Hag Al Leila’ and ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ initiatives along with preparations for ‘Eid in Dubai’, while discussing opportunities to further develop them and expand their presence to reflect the vitality and continuity of our traditions.  The ‘Season of Wulfa’ is a holistic initiative rooted in reflection, connection, and blessing. During a site visit, I reviewed the progress of Al Fahidi Fort rehabilitation works.  As you stand between the walls of Dubai’s oldest surviving structure, you find yourself face to face with the earliest beginnings of a city that believed in its dream and continues to move forward with confidence from one achievement to the next.  The project extends beyond the restoration of a historic landmark. It preserves the memory of a place that witnessed Dubai’s transformations and safeguarded the stories of its people across time.  Soon, when the Fort reopens its doors, it will become a space where we reconnect with the spirit of old Dubai. We will share with future generations the story as it began and as it continues, chapter by chapter. #AlFahidiFort #GuardianOfTheCity

Congratulations to the winners of the 26th edition of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships’ women’s tournament: American player Jessica Pegula in the singles category, and Canadian player Gabriela Dabrowski alongside Brazilian player Luisa Stefani in the doubles competition.  Throughout the tournament, the players demonstrated outstanding levels of determination, passion, and ambition. In Dubai, we take pride in hosting such world-class events that highlight women’s potential and reaffirm that their success knows no bounds.
