Fully Charged provides an electric bike solution for three categories, ME, WE and B2B, that is any individual, family or business looking for a greener, cleaner and more efficient form of transport.

A hugely exciting role in a rapidly growing business, I am responsible with implementing and overseeing all digital and direct marketing campaigns, as well as improving our internal and external communications that allow for our brand to develop at a greater rate. This whilst still maintaining our position as the UK's favourite eBike retailer.

As is the nature in all start-up/scale-ups, I have been given access to multiple disciplines within the business, namely Sales, e-Commerce and Operations.

Co-Founder & Sales Director at Orderu (formerly The Dealer App). Orderu is an award winning software-as-a-service focused on customer data, acquisition and retention in the food and drink industry. It uses white-labelled applications to improve the customer experience and raise revenue for restaurants, leisure spaces and digital brands within the industry.

Prior to becoming a white-labelled solution, Orderu was an aggregator, The Dealer App, which had over 43,000 active users and 250 restaurant partners in London, Oxford, Manchester, and Leeds. Clients included the likes of Pizza Pilgrims, Shoryu Ramen, Island Poké and Patty & Bun.

Orderu's first white-labelled solution was in partnership with @top_london_restaurants in September 2019. The technology is now applied in East-Asia under a joint-venture.

Ps - Who else remembers this show? And why was it a bit weird?

Right so the LinkedIn algorithm isn't what it used to be. My carousels that got 400,000 impressions in 2023 are now getting 400. My engagement pod of 47 marketers who all promised to comment within 90 seconds have gone silent. I had a whole Notion database tracking which brand commentary performed best and the one of me commenting about yet another British Airways passenger smiling out of the window got me 2,000 followers. Let that sink in, 2000 followers. Now none of it works. Apparently people want substance, actual original thought. Is it not enough for me to post other people’s work anymore and gain a following from it? Is it not enough to say that AI isn’t going to take your job, someone who knows how to use it will? Is it not enough to ask my dog to endorse me on LinkedIn? So tell me, what would you do?

I hosted an event for The Drum! 

I've been a fan of the global marketing media platform for a long long time. 

And so when Steven Antoniewicz and Richard Draycott reached out to me a couple of months ago and asked if I wanted to host the B2B World Fest I was both surprised and simultaneously elated.

And so I thought, bugger it, why not bring to life some of my sketches I’ve been doing on LinkedIn this past year.

🕺 And there was even a Performance Marketing rendition of Beyonce’s Single Ladies (music video to come)

You know what, I felt entirely out of my comfort zone all day. 

And doing genuine ‘stand-up’, to a B2B marketing audience was pretty alien to everyone. 

But I thoroughly enjoyed myself, despite some shameless moments.

It was a real privilege to introduce and meet some of B2B’s biggest marketing leaders.

A big thank you to all of the team at The Drum, my awesome Co-Host Lynn Lester, Katy Thomson and Global Editor Cameron Clarke for letting me give my spin on the day.

We’re just getting started.

I did it again…

I somehow turned headlining an expo into a cheeky bit of stand up.

Here’s a highlight reel of the tech for marketing expo.

WHAT A DAY.

Unlike most, I wasn’t there to pitch a new AI Marketing tool.

I was there to ask the hard questions:

- What is the future of AI in Marketing?
- Why aren't you posting on LinkedIn?
- What is a Fireside Chat? (seriously wtf)

Turns out nobody knows. 
But we all nodded anyway...

Yesterday, I hosted my first ever live comedy piece on LinkedIn Live.

It was one of the most uncomfortable things I’ve done.

Outside of the odd MC slot at marketing expos (and the occasional quiz hosting gig), this was the first time I’d thrown myself into a live performance where anything could go wrong. 

And so we performed a satire of LinkedIn marketing culture… on LinkedIn. Live. How meta do you wanna get?!

From the very first time I met Ian McKenzie, we’ve both been aligned in wanting to push the limits of what’s possible on this platform. 

So why not parody the exact wave of podcasts that flood your LinkedIn feeds every single day?

And that’s exactly what we did. 
We ran a 20-minute pilot. 

We wrote a rough script and after two separate improvised rehearsals we gave it a spin.

And, considering this was a first attempt, I’m incredibly happy with the outcome.

One thing is for certain, I should definitely create a character next time rather than playing myself. More on this to come. 

But beyond the learnings, we had an insane amount of fun, including corpsing at the back end of the video (we genuinely couldn’t help ourselves).

I want to acknowledge Ian for continuing to push me to my limit, as well as Passionfruit superstar Eleanor, our unofficial/official ‘producer’, for keeping the whole thing from descending into chaos.

Most importantly, I think this format, in the fullness of time, will get senior marketers talking on the platform across the globe. And that is our objective.

We’d genuinely love to hear what people want to see from the ‘podcast’ as we look to double down on it in 2026. 

Fresh angles, more nuanced characters, mimicking more of the marketing world, we’re all ears.

Keep an eye out for the short-form cuts dropping in the build up to Christmas.

We’ve just launched a new product at Passionfruit 🚀

And we did it by creating our first product-led comedy sketch.

So here's the creative process behind the Dodgeball video that launched PIP.

It’s easy to overthink the creative.

So we started with the problem:

Marketers only spend 28% of their time doing actual marketing. 

The rest is admin, reporting, busywork that doesn't move the needle.

PIP fixes that. 

But saying "our AI tool saves you time" is boring. 

Everyone says that.

So in true Passionfruit fashion we made a sketch where a marketer gets inspired by dodging the CFO, nailing briefs blindfolded and getting ridiculous ROI.

The parody does the heavy lifting. It's entertaining, so people actually watch it. 

But underneath, we're making three critical points:

1. This isn't just for marketing managers. CMOs, heads of marketing, directors, anyone on a team of 5-80 seats can use this daily.

2. PIP isn't ChatGPT. It's bespoke, closed-source, built for mid-market to enterprise. It connects any of your proprietary data and gives you intelligence based on our three years of Marketplace data.
