IIW is the worlds leading forum for User-Centric ID. The Internet Identity Workshop (IIW) is a twice a year Open Space Tech unConference that focuses on “user-centric identity” and trying to solve the technical challenge of how people can manage their own identity across the range of websites, services, companies and organizations that they belong to, purchase from and participate with.

IIW is at its heart a participatory conference, it is an Open Space unConference. Through dozens of sessions, called and convened by participants, lunches, and two evening meals (all included in ticket) you’ll have plenty of chances to exchange ideas and make new professional connections.

As a Professional Facilitator I specialize in Planning, Producing & Facilitating ‘Open Space Technology’ meetings for Companies, Organizations, Educational Institutions, Retreats and Open Events such as unConferences.

I am passionate about participant driven dialogue processes that are inclusive and serve to develop capacity for sustainable relationships, creative collaboration and getting things done. 

Open Space Technology (OST) is an interactive process where participants set the agenda, meet in concurrent and overlapping discussions around a theme or an issue, across department, hierarchical or historically opposite lines.

The cross-pollination created by moving from group to group and topic to topic in a non-linear way, allows participants to shift quickly from familiar ways of thinking into innovation and action, going where they feel they are learning and contributing and moving to another group when they are not.

Open Space IS a simple, powerful way to catalyze effective working conversations through a powerful group process that supports positive transformation in organizations, increases productivity, inspires creative solutions, improves communication and enhances collaboration.

I also undertake small to large projects in program, meeting and conference design and facilitation, individual and team transition coaching and other interesting ventures that can benefit from my skills and expertise.  I enjoy working collaboratively developing processes, courses and tools for self-exploration and growing individual and collective awareness.

Tho I'm not a fan of seeing myself on video 🙃 I am a SUPER Fan of using Open Space Technology to explore, discuss and even solve some of the tough issues around developing secure, private, inclusive Internet Identity needed today.  It is the perfect method to employ at DID:UNCONF AFRICA and will facilitate cross-pollination, collaboration and getting work done later this month in South Africa ~ See you in the Opening Circle soon!
