In 2019 I burnt out...

And ended up a silent retreat in the Himalayas.

It was incredible; just what I needed. 

The best thing about it?

Upon arrival they took our phones off us. We spent 10 days completely cut off from the outside world.

Back in the UK I had catch up with my dear friend Ben. And told him where I'd been.

We discussed how rare it is to get a little time offline... Far harder than one might expected. 

And also how magical it can be.

Then the very next week...

I quit my job, and we started Unplugged.

5 years on we have close to 50 cabins. And have helped over 13,000 people spend a few days offline. 

And we've barely begun...

Our traffic has 2x'd in the last two weeks 🔥🔥

No increase in ad spend. Just from doubling down on brand.

It's the big bet we've taken this year; compounding our brand equity.

In the last month we've done:

- Our first collab cabin with Healf
- A Damson Madder cabin take over.
- And of course the Munya Chawawa video.

It all felt risky, months of wondering whether it'll work.

In the last two weeks things finally came to fruition. 

In the day and age of AI slop, I'm soooo bullish on going big on brand equity and high quality campaigns.

We're just getting started. 🚀
