Dear foodpanda Team,

I previously reached out privately regarding an issue that has become far too common — riders repeatedly messaging customers for financial help. This has happened with me multiple times, and I know many other customers who have faced the same. When something occurs this frequently, it signals more than isolated hardship — it reflects a deeper support gap within the system.

My original request was simple: address the matter discreetly, protect the riders, and create better support structures so they don’t feel the need to ask customers. However, as there has been no acknowledgement or resolution, I am sharing this publicly so the seriousness of the issue is no longer easy to overlook.

This is not to shame or penalize riders — most of them are hardworking, polite, and just trying to survive. This is a call to foodpanda to step in, strengthen rider welfare, and ensure that customers don’t become the fallback support system for situations.

Foodpanda has the reach and responsibility to do better. I hope this post encourages real action.
