The biggest barriers are put up by ourselves. Opportunity is everywhere. Stay focussed on the things you can control and aware of the things you can't. Time is precious.

Well, well. There we have it 13 years in the making! Crikey, what a ride it's been... and still riding! 
But of course, it couldn't all have been done without the many, many other people along the way. From my wonderful agency mentors who supported me leaving the wonderful DNX (Domini, Alex, Teresa) to the incredible OG of the global Channel Olivier who welcomed me to Purechannels in 2012 and taught me so much. And then the many key staff and clients, colleagues and friends I have made and who have inspired me along the way. Thank you.

NLP and Hypnosis Practitioner, pursuer of excellence, life lover, unrelenting smile-maker and immovable optimist, driving change through the Channel and side-hustling my way through the global football market, I invented the RESPONSEBALL - a football that provides unpredictable and irregular movement in flight and on the ground, so it's great for goalkeeper training, co-ordination, reactions, motor-skill development and also just for a bit of good old fashioned fun in the garden or as part of a training session. 

I am also Honorary President of the 'Glenn Robertson Academy Gambia' which provides opportunity, hope and inclusion through football, keeping children off the streets and offering them an alternative to drugs and crime in Gambia.

Marketer, creator, inventor, brainworker, talker, presenter, networker, and innovator, I am encouraged, motivated and inspired everyday by my two little girls and what lies ahead for them.

I like to be nice. And despite what some teachers might say, I am also perfectly comfortable using the word nice. 

I own more pairs of shoes than my wife because I believe that shoes are important. They help people and people are really important! 

I start the day with a cup of tea and then move onto coffee.

I am such a trend follower! And the one I am totally getting on board with today is the "Selfie-fascination" post, where the contents of your inspiring, informative, educational, experiential thought-share-shower is perfectly, and relevantly matched with... a photo that one has taken of oneself. 😳 

I mean hey, I have to admit - and IYKYK (another trend... this one from my often embarrassed but wonderful daughters) - I love a selfie! 

And at least it's not an obviously constructed lazy-fest of sh*t imagery by everyone's favourite designer "Ai" that is filling my feed more and more these days.

PX is the core of everything you do in any indirect GTM activity. MDF is still a thing, use it or lose it baby. People still rule, channel is not dead, ecosystem is not new - and also it is "ecosystem, NOT EGOsystem!". Partnerships only work if one of you is not selfish, Blackberry is still the best handheld device, I'm doing another play (HOORAY!), my daughters are awesome, I love tea and dunking biscuits, I'm going to Vegas for AWS Re:invent again this year, for which I have already bought new trainers. Sales and marketing really do still need to get over themselves, take the chips off their shoulders, and just talk nicely and properly to each other. You need to know what you are talking about when you say "to, through, with and for" partners. Communication is the foundation of engagement. The Channel is not dead. Nearbound was a brilliantly executed marketing plan (by two really cool guys who were not afraid to shout the loudest and come up with a cool new name... there I said it!) You do not have 'sh*t' partners, only partners who's needs are not being met and if they are being sh*t for you, they are being awesome for someone else. Partner recruitment starts with the partners you already have, not the ones you don't. Partner training is not just a product tech-spec orgy. Your partners do not work for you and will not do what you want... unless they want to. Your business is not a priority for your partners, theirs is! The Channel is not dead. Point the finger inwards to yourself, before you point it out towards someone else. Your terrible portal engagement stats are not your partners fault. Just because your think your content is great does not mean your partners will. The Channel is not dead. Your partner portal is not for you! Marketo it not a partner communications tool... it was bought by your marketing org for email marketing and marketing automation - and you have to use it because they spent so much damn money on it! You have too many partners that you are not paying enough attention to. The Channel is not dead.  "PEOPLE BUY FROM PEOPLE" IS NOT FRICKING NEW!!!!!!!
