can we not reason for ourselves that bitcoin is a strange asset/trojan horse?
-why are bankers etc propagating void digital assets, hoarding themselves all things physical.
-since when are real threats adopted so fast? conveniently (monetary) history is not taken into account.
-were they ever adopted in energy, healthcare, housing, etc?
-would you ever put loads of money into a thing which foundation is vague and based on an unknown guy?
-social engineering of digital money usage raison d'etre?
-since when is jargon/terminology from a challenger technology being adopted into mainstream finances?
-words are powerful and spells... and a freedom providing technology would never be called a block"chain"
-blockchain is backbone of china's social credit system, implemented by IBM amongst others.
-transparency is a statist's and government's dream, not that of any private man or woman.
-freedom can never be provided by a technology, only when we as societies choose so (from the heart).
-being saved from an external entity is the n-th savior/hero hypnosis/program executed by ABC agencies.

A crypto whale turned $42 million into $3.45 million profit in 25 days. The asset? Gold.
The method? Leverage loops that would make Wall Street jealous.

The strategy: deposit collateral, borrow stablecoins, buy XAUT (tokenized gold), use XAUT as new collateral, borrow more, repeat. By the end, they held $42 million in leveraged gold exposure.

This would have required a prime brokerage relationship and significant infrastructure previously. DeFi made it permissionless.

The opportunity is real. So is the risk architecture.

Leveraged loops amplify gains when prices rise. They trigger liquidation cascades when prices fall. Traditional finance has margin calls with human discretion and circuit breakers. DeFi has smart contracts that execute automatically, around the clock.

The whale won this round. The same infrastructure creates systemic risk when similar strategies concentrate across the market.

So crypto has become a new version of the same finance.
