I learned my writing trade in the world of journalism. Currently still a Sports Columnist and former Journalist with the award winning local newspaper, The Mayo News, including various freelance work for national media outlets – mainly in print – as well as broadcast work. 

From there I branched in digital marketing - working in SEO and content with Ireland's biggest sport retailer, Intersport Elverys. There I grew their blog to over 13 MILLION organic impressions p/m. 

Interested in Community Development - conducted a research thesis on how Communities in the West of Ireland are utilising Digital Media in their Community Development Projects. 

 Former student Sports Journalist of the Year nominee; I love working with people, both professionally and sportingly, in challenging environments working towards a common goal.
